A few don't top there scrogs at all. They say it fills the nest faster. You get the same amount of colas evidently due to tucking and dominance.
I'm a topper. I like the 4 colas from the one cut technique.

I cant say i have scrogged before. I usually dont top either, my veg times really short.

Sorta, i suppose.
I start with 6 regular. Cull the males. Plants end up around 5 1/2 feet if you include the pots, and usualy fill the space.
Im a little getto and use an oil heater, and a tower fan. Also have an evaporate cooler instead of aircon. I do probaby lose about 25% space in my 4x4.

I don't find you break more branches but I stopped because I was having issues with the stem splitting in half where they had been topped.
The stem on the Moontang,only topped once but must have ended up FIMing it by mistake.

I have a collection of slingshots I made from the first topped branches...I know wat u mean with split stalks remember I split the sharksbreath 2 months ago at the main stem its held together by duct tape lol
