I used the cans to get rid of dead spots square containers "can" make.

Water doesn't like to bounce off straiggt corners in my mind

Yeah but it's hard to get a pipe to seal right on a rounded surface.in square buckets the stones aerate the water enough and the flow goes through the buckets.more than enough circulation.but either way the concept is the same

i made a drilling fixture to get perfect holes in the cans all alinged within a 1/16 of an inch

The return pipe is a nice straight shot
Ill have to get you a pic cause i aligned my tees so the flow is directed to the brain bucket

Also a powerful suction can be felt at each bucket
But the suction is very equal

There is so much flow that my res drops like 4 inches when the pump is on.

The syncra pump is bookoo awsome

If you're growing in a trellis or have a thick canopy then defoliating and lollipoping is a must imo or you'll end up with a bunch of bullshit larf on the bottoms. Pull that shit off and let the energy focus at the tops of the plants! I defoliate/lollipop 2-3 days before flipping then again on day 14.
Honestly could have pulled more off on this round imo but im still happy with how its coming..

Yeah I think IL stick with defoliating, I'm not a big fan of the larf.

I have been leaving more fan leaves tho, and just removing sucker bud sites.

The small newly formed , skinny stemmed , under developed bud sites.

Agree if your outdoors you shouldnt defoliate

But if indoors you want to maximize your grow area you have too. I bent and tucked leaves till the canopy was so thick it didnt breath lol

So i have to pluck your milage may vary .

What is the strain? Is this wet weight? Is this counting leave n stock?
I’m not saying it can’t be done, but I’d like to take notes .
What can you pull in a sealed room with a de 1000?

Can you be my Mr Miyagi?

Id agree they are discolored.

But looking at the overall results the plants look happy .

Could have had an issue but he has since corrected it .. it looks like

Just thought I'd toss in my two cents on defoilation in this thread.

Basically if your typical grow shows considerable yellowing or deficiency before two thirds of your grow are done then I would not advise defoilating. On the other hand if it's normal for you to reach maturity with mostly green plants and very little leaf loss then have at it.

I personally don't defoilate to the degree some are suggesting the term means. I just want make sure I have good airflow and light hitting as many bud sites as possible.
I also rapidly increase leaf take if I'm approaching done with only the bottom leaves yellowing. I want to assist the plant in using up its reserves for finish.

myself,skitty,doc holiday,toasty,and Heath Robinson call all pull 8 lbs on a 1000 , up to ten on a gavita,
