What height should I put my 300w led above my seedling? I just put it in the soil 24hrs ago with the light at 24". Nothing yet. Is it to close?

"Niello M300 compares to traditional 250 watt HPS/MH while consuming only 120 watts! Perfect for a 2.5x2.5’ growing area at 24” height (Max coverage 3x3’)"
--- It's 120 actual watts, according to the ebay and amazon listings I checked

If the seed hasn't popped then you don't need light at all. After it sprouts you will have to experiment. They don't need much light at the beginning,, 18 - 24 inches seems about right.

Your light will flower 1 small-ish plant in 1.5x1.5 space.. Don't believe the Chinese manufacturer's claims. It's an ok starter light though. Should work fine if you don't expect more than it can deliver.

When the led manufacturer says their 120w is the same as 250w of HPS or MH, just ignore that and clock it in as 120w.

So I'm good?
As GreenLogician stated, You don't need any light until it sprouts. Once sprouted i would set height at 36" for the first day. If it's showing signs of stretching i would lower it 6" or so and keep doing this until it looks like its happy. No closer then 18" with that light for a baby sprout.
