Thank you i've been wondering ,sounds really interesting...I have some auto regulars( i happen across them ) I never grew an auto ,so the ones i would always see were fems......So if that male auto hit a female photo..Would the seeds still be as you described above? Thank you...
Yes. That is the way most do the cross. From Auto pollen to photo flowers. The auto male will be done before the photo, so you have to save it.
Thanks I thought the same after someone said ,they will just be normal photo seeds .Surely it retains allot of its rudarelis genetics though after one x . Thanks for answer.
I've never done autos or semi autos, but many on here have had good results with them. getaway mountain has done really good work with semi autos. He is up in Maine, where if you are not early, you don't make a crop. It takes some work, but you see which ones auto flower, and just use those in your breeding if the auto is what you are looking for. You can breed the f1's back to photos, or you can breed them with each other.
But where they really shine is that you can veg them with long light hours. Say 20/4 or something like that. You veg them until they are as big as you want them. Then when you put them out in 14 hours of sunlight, they will go ahead and start to flower.
