As opposed to growing in your home. You should shower and change your clothing before you enter your indoor garden. Even if your only outside that day to check your mail. Maby not the first time maby not the 1000th but eventually your gona pick up a mite or aphid ( both of wich are notorious hitchhikers) showering and changing clothing directly before entering the garden eliminates this chance.

I kind of agree but sounds like OCD. I mean no matter where you grow if the little bastards want in they will find a way. Mites and aphids are tiny, sometimes microscopic. Ants are much bigger and they can smell the smallest of crumbs.

One oz of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Better safe than sorry and all that lol. I will say that since i became ocd abought my cleanliness before going in my garden there have been no bugs...knocking on wood atm.
If i was in an out building i would for sure have a sulfur burner. Very cheep for what it does. Not so good in your home

Never had issues with bugs in my shed except when I ran soil lol. And yes spray foam is the best way to insulate but you need to keep in mind you will be fastening things to the wall, lots of stuff lol. Installing framing before spraying will allow you to fasten things easier if you were spraying over the existing studs, 1 x 3 strapping works well. I used batt insulation and covered with the reflective bubble wrap (which is really shitty for insulation value lol) as it was half the price of foaming

Dont be an ass. Im not saying if you are in a shed your going to have a pest problem. Im saying its a lot easier to become infested in an outbuilding than indoors. Are you disagreeing with that fact?Holy shit, I should have bugs everywhere

Nope not disagreeing at all, don’t get all agitated lol. I’m saying because I don’t shower and change to sterilized clothes that I’m walking on the edge lol. And yes it does seem a tad OCD, but hey can’t argue with what works

I've had mites once and I will be doing my best not to get them again so I'll hhave a painter suit and a tray of disinfect to step in as I go in to the room emailed about 10 companies last night about spray foaming the shed do u think I would get way with under floor under lay and foam gym mats for the floor

I work on site and i have to say in house building no its not ,It causes damp ,That is why a lot of damp proof injecting is done no more,I would have gone with foam boards boards,This at least gives you a void for air to circulate.For the Floor buy the matting that goes under laminate flooring.The thick rubber stuff aint cheap though but works a treat for noise has well has keeping it warm lights off.The fans should keep it cool lights on.Big Project your taking on here,Good luck keep us updated

I grow in a shed
if you are in a cold climate your rh will sky rocket but can be taken care of with a dehuey and insulation.
I stuffed 2 inch rigid board in a 6 inch wall then packed 6 inch fiberglass on top of that .
It kills a little of the r value in the fiberglass but ups the thermal density
Even in pretty cold temps my rooms heater has NOT come on and i live way up north
The high temp of the day is about 77 and i think my rdwc res acts as a thermal battery keeping the room warm when lights are out cause it can be 10 degrees out and my room wint have gone below 64 degrees with 0 added heat

22mm tongue and Grove panels on the out side and 30mm studs
Got the flanges yesterday so tomorrow I'll be fitting them and digging a trench for the power cable to go in before the electrician come he's a retired man so I'll do all the hard work and he will just connect the power and put in sockets for me
It's a pain in the arse getting quotes for the insulation half the companies don't get back to u and u have hassle them
The plant had to be cut back last night they are way over vegged I even had to trim the clones lol

No disrespect because its a nicely done shed but i would have gone thicher on the walls for insulation and sound deadening.
I cant imagine too many spray foam companies want to do a job that small.
Just because they would have it sprayed in 2 seconds then they have to probably spend a few hours cleaning the equipment.
Probably not worth it for them .
But you might be able to make friends with one and bribe him with weed or beer plus cash to come by after they are done with big jobs and just shoot your shed on their way home?
