so should I use my Nutrient @ a ph of 7
or maybe a 3.5
the Media will take care of it
or should I be feeding @ a ph range of 5.5-6.0 to optimize nutrient uptake?
"Soilless media have a buffering capacity to hold nutrients and have been pH-adjusted with limestone to maximize nutrient availability. Purified water has a minimal buffering capacity and does not change the pH of the growing medium. However the pH of soilless media is greatly impacted by the acidity/basicity of the fertilizer provided by the grower. This pH fluctuation can cause the nutrients to become unavailable or excessive for plant uptake. The optimum soilless medium pH for nutrient uptake is between 5.5 and 6.0."

I monitor Nutrient PH not Water PH
water ph is not necessary to monitor unless the alkalinity is above 200ppm CaC02
how your fertilizer influences your ph of growing medium
did you not catch that....medium ph is greatly impacted by fertigation ph (acidity/alkilinity)

oh yeah
much cheaper than $25.00 a gal
or $50.00 for 25lbs of dry solution I am waiting to use
but still got to ise all this up
oh yeah

they sent me all this to trial
uggh and no ph either
guess that ph2.0 wont be getting any use anytime soon

according to the OP you just throw a bunch of lime in there and Azomite?? That takes care of everything
oh yeah and use PH perfect nutes...his local hydro shop has some ....local hydro shop nutes
they make it on the spot I am assuming....you use it @1tsp per liter so approx 20ml per gal of unadjusted water with an alkalinity of between 150-200ppm CaCO3
