That would only depend on the rosin extraction %. It it goes from say 20% to 40% return rate that it might be worth it other wise a few extra % is nothing for what it costs. How expensive can two pieces of aluminium and heating elements be? The press part is worth nothing.
Price aside the design is pretty smart. Increase your surface area while maintaining even pressing pressure..what ya really want is a pair of CONE PLATES

I'm wasn't talking about THC level but about how much the press can extract out of the flowers vs flat place. So if you only get an extra 2 grams out of pressing a whole LB that it doesn't make sense.
