im not, it will be my first finished indoor grow, plus i knew the lights could have been better. i just went with them due to my budget. im not slinging pounds or nothing lol, i just need my own personal stash. and also i get the pleasure of spending my time with it, knowing the care that it recieved and what was put in it. and i can try whatever strains i want vs whatever i can find and buy. I dont need them to be great, just good enough lol. i will be upgrading one day though, but i just need them to work for now haha

Exact same boat as myself.. bought a vipar 300w and a meizhi 300w
Purely due to budget! I'm managing 2oz per plant with 2 plants at a time, 1 light each and staggering the flowering times so I get a harvest roughly every 5 weeks
Although I'd like bigger yields I'm very happy with the quality!

See, this is what I want to hear. I see so many threads that even mention Mars, Vipar etc go down hill with the HID/HPS/Cob talk but you actually have weed to show the lights work.

I'm running 2 of the 300w vipars in the 2x2 and my plant is pretty much filling my scrog net, if I get efficient and manage .5g/w that would be 4 zips a grow or roughly 16oz a year, more than most people's personal use - how much more can you push a 2x2 space before you start having to throw out mouldy weed due to overcrowded tents..

I don't prune much at all, and I topped the gorilla bomb many many times to get a wide even canopy :) but it resulted it loads of small heads, I've done a little less work on the cream manderine to see if 4 or 5 big heads will outweigh the 20 something small heads:) smells better than the gorilla already and she has some crazy trich coverage :D

The is man :) I'm still a beginner but I did seriously crazy amounts of research, myth debunking, forum reading etc before a seed touched soil. Only regret is the lights! Only had a £50 for lights though, they've sinse grown around £1200 worth of weed so it still wasn't a bad purchase.. just not the best available
