Starting to see some slight irregularities with the tops, so it will give me a quick check off if that's the issue?doubt it. Cold root zone is most likely the culprit,shocker!/s. Cut down on watering and will finally give them a Azomite/rainwater application for shits and giggles as always. Rock dust isn't doing anything beneficial probably till after i'm dead:mrgreen:, but it makes me feel better inside.

I like a knob, lol, jokes incoming........ well aware of the dimming series of drivers. Prefer not to fuck with a plug / screw and bombing out my efficiency.

Full wattage from seed is my thing, but I can understand the want/need for the option (height restricted,etc.) ....... to each their own.

And I'm sorry but you'll never enhance a cob w/ high CRI like you will w/ monos.

haha your half right go easy on the dawg.

The newer high cri cobs like the meat chips are real and effective in providing a real wide fat band in the deep reds to far red range. Mixing with a standard 3000k 80 cri cob works well and may give us a better flowering spectrum than boosting with 660 nm reds.

But the efficiency sucks and as far as I can tell efficiency still trumps spectrum (assuming we are talking about reasonable spectrums and not edge scenarios)

Quality monos (like the ones in my Amare's) haha, you live when I do that hu,
Monos includ. Whites, range in efficiency based on their color. Averaging out to be more efficient then Cobs. & can be driven softer to equal out efficiencies while still doing what it's intended to do because theirs more spread as well as more intensity /density (especially w/ lens). Just logic, common sense & raw data.
You use cobs because:
-They are cheap to make
-easy to build w/
-cheap
-cheap
-easy to build w/

Nice rig, but if your just adding 660 red & cob salad then eh, its alright.

The monos under the phosphor will be more efficient without the layer....................nothing new

quantity,quality,duration can sum up the light needs for indoor cultivation, so far efficiency trumps . LPS, 2.7ppf/w R&B led fixtures, nobody wants to mess with though........it's a balance

What's Lps?
Personally, I'd like to try a fixture that's 50/50, using a full range of colors along w/ 1 white k temp.

Round 3 Day 36 of 13/11 from seed under timber's b-lux décor vero 29 1750k fixture(296 watts) & osram 730nm trigger up my ass=====with my two anesthesia girls.

Using a cheap moisture probe to keep my watering habits in check with these cool temps, haven't given them a drop for a week so far. The white clovers will give me a sign anyways before the deeper rooted ladies.

We had snow yesterday but it hasn't lasted. Still cold though.

Your new growth is looking better.
My plants water uptake is slow too
