Illinois medical marijuana card wait time

I submitted my completed application (app, fingerprints, doctors note) electronically on Jan 12th. My credit card was charged on Jan 13th.

I just called and was told I was approved on Monday, March 26th and that my card was sent to the printer today (March 28th).

Anyone know how long the wait is once your approval has been sent to the printer?

Good for you! Seems about 10-14 but some have received sooner! Good luck!!

Well update. I called and was informed my information wasn’t even sent to the printers yet. That it will be sent to them electronically tonight and they will get it tomorrow morning. The card will then be printed and put in the mail tomorrow afternoon or Friday morning. Then after that it is up the the post office which from where it is printed and mailed from it takes 2-3 business days to arrive in my mailbox. Wish I could get the informed delivery but I just moved into this house lol. So it is looking like I might have been right all along a 420 card in hand date.

I wonder if they wait and send them to the printer in batches. Hopefully just a few more days! I was hoping for this week...but it looks like it will be next week for sure!

I understand how you feel. I’m pretty sure everyone speaking on this forum has thought the same thing when we have heard the exact same words. They can’t tell you anything if they haven’t started your application yet. The only reason I am able to get any information is because my application has been completed already. But your time will be here soon enough. Most of us have had the same exact wait time as your self. Some have even had to wait longer. So patience young grasshopper. Lol

where are we at with the time line again. I have lost track. Im on day 50 Im not as close but would love sto get an update I thing we had it up to 84 to 90 days after mailing it in? I could be wrong

I have been following for a while. My application was received online 1/16 and I expect early receipt date at Day 80, expected date at Day 85 and late day of range at Day 90. Turn time from printer seems pretty quick.

I am hopeful that mine is being worked this week.
