I thought LED's don't produce enough lumen's for a grow?
When I was researching lighting, I found LED's, while they had a nice lumen/watt ratio, but it was offset because the LED's themseleves use such a small amount of WATT's themselves?
Example, I have seen some LED's that are pushing 100 lumens per watt (lab's actually had a 150 lumens/watt), but the problem is the thing only does 3 watt's... So while on paper, you might say WOW 150 lumens/watt!!! But the actualy output of this is 450 lumens.
I believe you stated the LED's total 50 watts? Is that 50 watt's total (for all the lights you have), or is it 50 watt's per fixture? By taking the latest breakthrough technology, your getting 150 lumens per watt (more likely 100 or less)... 50 X 150 == 7500 lumens...
I am very curious on how this grow will end up, as all my research showed these lights are not as efficient as a CFL, T5, HPS, MH, etc..
Good luck man, I hope you prove my research wrong, as LED's have a lot of benefits to them!!!
