We remove the alcohol after winterizing using vacuum. It is just not necessary before winterizing, because the remaining LPG will leave with the alcohol.

this is what my buddy just told me is he legit or on bullshit
takes up to 6 hrs to pack 26 oz of trim into tubes
blasting takes 4 hrs
purging takes about 30 min per 2g
so he said he can finish between 7g-14g a day

You can kif the material before extracting.
You can extract the column more than one time, instead of one long extraction. IE: Inject one can and collect the oil, then shoot two more cans and keep that extraction separate. The first extraction is the best.
What material are you supplying and what yield and product are you getting?

blue dream trim he yields about 3.5 grams a ounce. critical kush trim about 5 grams a ounce. a can of butane per ounce. would the second extraction be less potent or just taste not as good?

3.5 gms per oz is 12% and in the ballpark for trim, depending on what is in it. We typically yield about half as much from trim, as from the bud.
The second pull will have less of the lighter elements and more of the heavier ones, so will have less flavor and potency.

Not that much butane left. Some leaves when you add the warm alcohol, as it both raises the temperature and reduces the surface tension so the bubbles can readily escape. You have to have at least 1.6% to be flammable.

I typically add hot ethanol (~150F) to speed up the process and the bubbling last about as long as it takes to add the ethanol and stir enough to dissolve the concentrate.
