Ah man its crazy. Used to be respect amongst the breeders and everyone worked there lines and stayed the fuck outta eachothers bullshit. Its gone from discretion and staying under the radar, working with like minded people. Now there stepping over each other just to get a jump on the flavours of the months, trash talking on IG, calling eachother out in the public eye.
Doc is an absolute legend and the shit he and other guys cop on the daily is crap.

Just test ran my old light on the kill-a-watt meter. I was intrigued to find that it doesn't use quite use as much power as they claimed.
Peak out, Fan on= 93.5 watts. Lowest active idle= 5.6 watts. Lowest standby idle= 4 watts. And about where I had it... between 48 and 57.5 Watts.
Not that you're supposed to look at them. But, it's also interesting to note which LEDs come on when selecting individual channels.
Veg fires up the Blue LEDs and their UV counterparts. Bloom fires up the Red LEDs and their infrared counterparts. And the Growth channel fires up the mixed Red/Blue COB with two Red sattelite LEDs and two (4000k?) White LEDs.

Blue spectrum is ideal for veg it keeps the plant from stretching too much which it will do with a more red spectrum that’s why guys using HID use Metal Halide for veg and HIgh Pressure Sodium in flower as the red from the HPS gets them stacking on weight

They claimed it was equivalent to 135w hps. But was a 100w installation. Which I guess isn't too far off the claims. But why not say it's sub 100w.
