Ready to pull?

What do trichs look like on the actual buds, not the sugar leaves?
That's the question. The bud leaves and their resin glands have been there longer than the actual calyxes so they aren't the most accurate representation of where the bud's are as far as ripeness.

Even when looking at the buds you want to look at a few different sample areas to get an average. The tips of the top and lateral side nugs within a cola will be your newest growth. Try to check the newest growth and the oldest that you can scope (most older growth is inside the bud and inaccessible because of the new growth on top of it) and use those two points of reference to get an average.

All that said it looks like it's definitely in the window to be harvested. Can we get a bud shot in natural light? It looks like you did a great job. I'd really like to see a good pic of a well grown sample of Purple Punch f2 from seed.

Here are some natural light photos.
Looks good but if u wanna know when to pull it u will need to get u a cheap jewelers loop from eBay or Amazon there like 5 dollars and u can check trichomes on the buds and not sugar leaves ...

Here is a shot of the trichs on a bud deep inside, I cut a little bit off the top and put it under the scope. I am seeing its pretty white... Some of the lower buds on the plant are not really developed fully, still very white hairs and no orange, pic attached as well. Normal?

Also, I hope it goes without saying but I appreciate the advice. First grow. I'm surprised to get as good of a turnout as I did. I learned a lot in the process to do better next time. I grew with nectar for the gods this time. Pretty big fan, I just made some noob mistakes initially.

Yea, I have a jewlers loop. I just can't see the trichs at this level of detail with it so I prefer to use the USB micro. In general, Seeing orange and some white on the sugar leaves, but more white trichs on the buds is a good sign its time to pull? Do you guys see some brown on the buds before pulling?

I would wait and check it every couple days, it probably needs another week - 10 days for my liking, some may let it go longer
