are the boards the same dimensions as 288 and 304

looks like and makes sense with the heatsinks. I have heatsinks 1/8 too narrow, sourced local

I see they partnered with Ledil to make a custom lens. Probably because of the high voltage.
one of the reasons we made Solskins at 48V to keep it at SELV. Nichia leds are dearer than Samsung even in Volume so this was bound to be a dearer board
Cheers

They are actually slightly wider. They still fit on slate 2 quite well though. They had to be to accommodate the new optics system.
Whats the PPF of one of these 324 boards when run at roughly 160 watts? Also do you think they will work in veg decently even though there a mix of 2700 and 3000? I want to try 2 of them in a tester 2x4 tent i use to run new genetics before they go into main rooms and dont want to have to switch out the light going from veg to bloom. They would be replacing a 600hps for flower and 400mh for veg.

We should have sphere data this week. We will post it up asap.

Those Nichias look like nice diodes.
I would still like to find a slide in extrusion for the wider F strips as you get quite nice low loss diffuser films that can even redirect light to one side
The extrusions have a slot you slip the film diffusers into.

Nice as they are but over my budget this time round. Compared to the 320W XL QB LED Kit.
ive considered the same kit but im thinking that the 2 324 boards ran at 320watts would penetrate better then the 3 288 boards ran at 320watts, am i thinking this out right?

I'm no lighting pro, but my guess would be no, two 324s wouldn't penetrate better than three 288s. You'd have more points of light and a better spread with 864 diodes across three boards than 648 diodes across two boards. The light would be hitting the canopy from more angles, which - according to some of the veterans here - is the secret to penetration. They convinced me, but like I said, I'm no pro. Hopefully someone with more experience and knowledge on the subject can chime in and give an informed opinion.

I replaced two 400hps with one 600hps in tester tent and the 600 is making the two 400s look bad all around, that's where my thinking of two 324 qb ran at 160w each compared to three 288 qb ran at 107w each would penetrate better but maybe it's different with LED?

how old where the 400w bulbs?.......600w hps is more efficient, but still seems off

Low loss means?

The website has new info. From what I gather the Samsung chips are more efficient. But that's just lumen based.
