Realistically, how long should it take for a seed to pop
Average is about 72 hours. That's just dropping a seed in the hole. No prep or soak.Realistically, how long should it take for a seed to pop
IsI say about 72-73 degreesWhat are your ambient temps?
Warm seeds pop faster.
Thanks dude! I should take a picture of these seeds so the people can give their own opinion on them...If I put them straight into dirt it can take up to 4 or 5 days to see them pop up. I have had em go a bit longer dropping straight into soil. The paper towel method usually will show good taps at 72 hours. I just put my beans in a wet paper towel inside of a zip lock bag. I then set that in a warm cupboard and good viable seeds are ready to plant in 3 days tops.

Could I put them inside my tentYeah, that's a little on the cool side.
80-85 works faster.

Yeah, I think that is the case with this right hereWhenever I have slow germination it has always become colder or warmer than my target of about 74-78 degrees. Closer to 74 works better sometimes. Always surprises me.
