Dont use that light....If you want to use it anyway...use only for veg in a 3x3 tent... Number of plants depends on growing style..

Hey thanks for the speedy response man. So you don't recommend that light at all??And if i was to use it, you would only recommend for veg? Whats the reason?? Also what light would you recommend that's cost efficient and effective?? I'm looking to grow about 2 to 3 plants with organic soil.

You should read up in the led section.
This question has been asked too many times.
You will not find a decent grow light at that price, better off just buying led bulbs and pulling the lenses off.
If you are on an extremely tight budget plan on one plant under a big cfl, led bulbs, or hid. With led, strips or quantum boards are budget friendly but will cost well over 45 dollars for 300w.

There are a lot of reasons for not to use that light...led quality is probably bad..., also the number of watts ...300 probably is not real....
This kind of lamps were used some years ago and nowadays people are using Cobs or quantum boards (samsung medium potency leds)..check this forum...you will find lot of info about that. People are using since about 3 years ago mostly warm white leds instead of monocolor leds (your lamp) cause they are much better suited specially in flower. You have lot of options just look for cobs or quantum boards...and for a 3x3 tent...use about 200-300 watts in veg and 300 to 500 in flower to obtain high yields... with only 2-3 plants you will have to extend the vegetative time to get good yields for this space..

Thanks for the honest answers guys highly appreciated. Yeah $45.99 for that light is probably too good to be true the only reason I considered it is cause people were reviewing as a good light for the price (obviously) and also reliable. But they could be paid reviews. I'm going to look around a little more and consider all this info I have taken in and put it to good use.
