I am not against legalization mainly so kids and adults can get meds that are natural and effective and that no one goes to jail for a plant.

However. Legal weed. Even just medical. Actually has increased the amount of arrests and incarceration in Michigan since before the medical laws.

And the sentences are harsher.

That is something I had not considered. So illegal grows are now punished more harshly than they were before leaglization? That's fucked up. Totally supports my belief that our government has used this as yet another excuse to give big business a big sloppy blowjob.

What i found quite possibly the stupidest part of the legality of cannabis in Canada is they are claiming they will need more police. But weed has always been there. The former chief of police is now leading a big LP Growup (douchebag that he is).

I think justice would be better served if they would go after real crime. Meth/Crack/Coke. You know the shit that ruins lives.

Once they tested us with home growing and private dispensaries they were always going to over regulate and control it all.

I have been saying this would happen since I was a kid.

For Canada crime will go throw the roof ,house break ins & home in vashions , now they consider weed & alcohol both impairment lol, court rooms will be blocked , kids will be addicted to weed like they are with video games ,legal weed will cause more problem then it's worth ,Edmonton just had property tax in crease to fund weed , wow , Then there comes the government to make money off weed ,They sent many people to jail for growing, smoking and ruining many people's lives , I just think we should not allow them to make money off weed , I think most older people probably will never step inside ther weed shops ,but the kids will or just around the corner ,

while i agree with you for the most part, there actually has been a big increase in people robbing grow houses. they do it from different states, they have "friends" looking for likely targets, then they'll drive hundreds of miles to rob a house and take it back to their town to sell.
