Nutrients Question

I have searched the forums and look up some videos on youtube regarding nutrients.

I only have used general hydroponics 3-part floral line (floragrow, floramicro, florabloom) and I feel that my plants are missing something. I do use cal-mag and balance the ph.

My grow medium is split. coco coir + perlite and another coco coir, perlite, blood meal, worm casing and other stuff. The only difference I have noticed between the two is how long it takes to water them, the coco and perlite mix alone dries quicker.

I just use tap water and balance ph after mixing nutes.

Here is my question:

I am looking at remo nutrients and advance nutrients to move into. I am leaning towards the advanced nutrients ph perfect sensi 2-part grow/blow.

Any advice, any recommendations, any other brand a should look into?

you should try H3AD's formula for coco using micro and bloom and epsom salts.

you wont see mutch difference from one base to the next. they are all the same shit. if you feel that something is missing.....there is. silica. add a silica supplement in hydro

You're leaving out crucial information. What is your growing environment? How much light do you have? As long as you feed the plant what it needs which is in many inexpensive base nutrients the biggest boost you can make is to the environment. Light, temperature, etc...

If your environment isn't dialed in no amount of nutrients is going to make up for it.

So if you are hobby growing, Advanced Nutrients Sensi line is great way to go. I have been using these nutes (3 years) which include: B-52, Big Bud, Overdrive and Bud Candy. If you end up using their nutes PM me and I will give you my feeding schedule . . . Less than their website suggests.

I got their $199 option which contains everything. I put everything to 60% of their recommended and removed two items that people didn't really speak highly of. I figure I would start there as a base line, and go up as needed - this will be my first grow.

The only thing I also have is Sugaree (2-0-0) and I was going to use that in addition to the Advanced Nutrients feeding chart @ 60%.

This.
N is N. P is P. K is K.
Micronutes are micronutes.
Light is not light however.

Jesus.

If you're growing in soil, use tomato nutrients. No wonder you're having problems. Those nutes aren't designed to do anything but empty your wallet.

First of all - where did I say I was having problems? Can you please answer that?

My God, I’m always amazed when you mention a nutrient regimen in a forum or to everyone, it’s like talking about religion and people get so mean and sarcastic and pompous. It’s extremely negative and not very flattering. Do you drive a Porsche too?

Would you talk to someone face to face like that and expect any type of positive response? GTFU

I don’t think they were designed to do nothing. People use them with positive results. There is no "be all and end all" way to grow weed. (and $199 may empty your wallet, but doesn't empty mine)

Hey @Empdude420 I sincerely hope things go better for you today. I know we beat up on you pretty good yesterday, and I am over that.

(Please stop talking about money, there’s plenty of money around here, nobody cares.)

People are trying to help you make better decisions for the health of your plants and your own sanity. Keeping it simple is the smartest thing a new grower can do to get a successful harvest. I would recommend using a quality soil and Jack’s Blossom Booster 10-30-20, only during flower, and nothing else. One fert and some dirt. You can grow bomb diggity nugs with nothing else.

AN:
  1. works great,
  2. is not magic,
  3. is far too complicated,
  4. is mostly overpriced water.

For $100 I bought enough high quality commercial agriculture nutrients to last me for the next five years.

Look into Chem Gro, Mega Crop, and Jack’s.

Use up your AN stuff and consider one of those when you are done.

Your lights, genetics, and environment are much more important than your fertilizer.

And yes, @ttystikk would say that to your face, I think. Like me, I think he has an unreasonable lack of fear that way.
