We'll after feeding the girls this morning I decided to do the last defoliation. Turned all fans off except the extractor, unplugged one set of lights and turned the other set as low as they go. So far all is fine, start plucking away, 30mins later I go for a piss walk back into the room, oh my fucking god the smell flying around. Look outside make sure the neighbours are out and open windows doors the lot. Fuck if I'm defoliating these bitches again. I think come harvest time I'm bringing the spare 8 inch rvk and filter in the room, sealing the doors with tape and doing a dry trim, can't risk that stink again. Glad the wife was at work, she would go mad.
So that's that roll on another day in the white house.

Out with the jewellers loupe just before lights off, found a banana growing out of the Dinafem Critical Kush. So chop chop plants now gone. Will check as many buds as I can when the lights come on tomorrow. Just hope that G13 Labs C99 didn't blow it's load that was removed a few weeks back.
So now left with 1 x C99 and 3 x OG DP. Never had a herm before just bud rot hope that's all the issues now, but I don't think I'm gonna be that lucky.

I have been checking the rest of the girls the last few days incase they had some bananas forming, so far so good no sign off them. Will snap images during the week of the progress.

In the mean time the image below is one DP from the veg cab and this girl like the rest has been growing under a single 50 watt cob during veg.

I will be growing this from now to till the end in a 20L hempy bucket or bigger, hydroton res about 2 inches deep and straight coco on top. (1 L pot from seed before hand). Currently being trained for the scrog (as can be seen in the images below) mainlined, defoliated, supercropped, zip tied to the screen. Will see when the time comes if I just flower her on her own to fill the cab 2.5ft x 5ft or there abouts or with another strain.

Day 38 Flower (11on/13off)

No change to feeds or environment since last update with them details. So just some pics.

Most of the colas on the DP's are from 12 - 18 inches or there abouts. Should be nice come harvest. Frost from top to bottom. Sickening over ripe tropical fruit aroma.

Will be starting a new diary once this lot is harvested, in a few weeks. I have decided to run the Ocean Grown Dark Plasma again. Can't help but love this plant, easy to grow, takes a beating well and scrogs real nice. Will run two Plasmas both are from seed and currently in veg under a single 50 watt cob, slow progress but I ain't in a rush. Both will be in hempy buckets and modular scrogs, I want to stagger the flowering with about 2 - 3 weeks between each other. Should be fun.

Day 50 Flower (11on/13off)

A few quick snaps in the flower cab today. These will clearly show the space that got wasted due to having to pull 2 plants out in early flower. A fair amount of bud space wasted. Shit happens. Some of the OG-DP colas have fell over or being held up by the cab walls. Buds on all plants are solid, covered from top to bottom and underneath in white sparkling goodness.
Currently they have had their feed cut to EC1.0 and just Cana Flores A&B, they will get this everyday until Saturday 21st April, from this date they will get just tap water until chop time. I will take a few sample shots of colas once I start the chop.

So on with the show some snaps.

Canopy shot, im using a wide angle lens for these shots so I can fit it all in, so things will look smaller than they are.

A shot from the front at net level, this shot shows how stacked and packed the colas actually are all the way thru the OG-DP's, can't complain with that really. Again a wide shot.

Shit before I forget, I had turned the lights up to 450watts for one lights on period to see if they would be happy, simple answer to that was no they where not. Started burning the tops so back to 400watts. No need what so ever for anymore power in my grow space doing scrogs.

Ok cool thanks. I'll tag along here just found the link from your other thread. I'm moving the new thread to my old vert thread to not be running two threads on the same grow doesn't make sense to do duplicate work lol.

Little update on the Dark Plasma black left in the photos.

This one has a very fruity aroma compared to the rest and is also producing more in the bud department compared to the other two Dark Plasmas (front middle and front right) Trichomes on this one are also more mature with about 35% milky and 60% clear 5% amber / purple. The front pair seem to be a more fuel kushy smell and the trichomes seem to be about a week behind the other as they look to be 75% clear the rest are just starting to go cloudy.
So the Plasmas got their last feed this morning EC0.2(tap) + 0.5 EC of bloom nutrients and will only get straight water when needed until chop time.
The C99 will need an extra week unless it produces some magic over the next week.Not to complain as the sample bud I took has dried solid like a stone, covered in crystals smells like orange now, with some spicy earthy tones. Potent as fuc to boot.

Got bored this afternoon and decided to take some pics. I have been playing with the idea of doing a diary as a photo essay with descriptions etc, I would only be doing updates twice per week maximum as it is a little time consuming. But gives me the options to make a nice pdf or web gallery for later reference and backup.

Dark Plasma Day 59 Flower

Lights (11on/13Off) 400 watts Quantum Boards



Well the Dark Plasma that was at the back left in the scrog is being chopped down today. I think this one should have been down at day 55 as it was in the harvest window at that stage, I noticed some naners starting to grow this morning, so that made the chop final decision. Nothing to worry about and something that can happen so close to the end.

As can be seen there is some nice purple, orange, green, red colours to the buds and should look really tasty once cured.

One of the pics as you will see in my hand is an average cola, rather filled out and a good size for a scrog. Will fill my jars for sure.

I think the below should answer any questions about how good white led panels using Samsung chips can grow are favourite plants.
