I believe that biggest red is oversized for here. I believe it’s 17-24

I was close. Lol. I don’t have to measure the sardines I catch.. I’m the same, they go back unless they are gonna die. If I want fish to eat, I’ll go to Publix..

Here in Nova Scotia i target Speckled and Rainbow Trout and Small Mouth Bass on the fly. Mackeral and Stripped Bass on spinning , Gaspereau and Smelt by dip net, Flounder on Hand-line. Stll almost a foot of snow in the woods yet.

Kept a few males for tacos. Pre-fishing for tomorrows derby in colusa.
Caught some big ones to today also. Lost a 40+ lb’er right at mu fucking boat! Sucks

I miss the fishing there,
Calm digging in the morning , then hand lines for flounder when the tide came in.
