Hello

Can you please help me...I am on tight budget and thinking about buying quality led 3590 cob light for my space 80x80x 160 and I cant afford fail with buying... thinking about buying new Hans 3590 100w panel.
It is relativly cheap and tehnical information seems to me as a neewbie are great

This is regarding "white" light LEDs like (good) COBs, Quantum Boards (and the copy-cats), and Samsung/Bridgelux strip-lights:

It is not generally recommended to use 50w sq/ft with LED. Poke around the threads here on the LED sub-forum and you'll see that 30w is more often recommended than 50, and 30-40w is the average. I've heard the 50w sq/ft thing from HID growers, but I can only think of a couple of growers here that run their lights that high.

30w per square ft is the lowest recommended. 50w per square ft is "optimum" supposedly.
Any amount of light will grow medication. There are other variables to consider. Temperature is a biggy. Ph levels and the feeding schedule matters just as much as the lights you choose. You could spend a fortune on the best lights you can find but if you mess the ph up or over/under feed the girls you won't get the outcome your expecting. Stain choice. Autoflower, regular or photoperiod will all effect how well your plants grow.
Get one or two grows under your belt using any method you can for the cash you have and your savings/profit and knowledge you will gain will allow your to buy better products so you can grow better "product" :bigjoint:

50w/sq ft is not optimum. The only optimum is what suits your grow space. But as long as we're talking averages, 30w/sq ft is certainly more commonplace around here.

I "quoted" "optimum" then I put "supposedly" afterwards haha. A quote is when you repeat something that "someone" other than yourself have said. It's not actually what I think if you read what I said properly. Any light will grow weed. You have other things equally as important such as temperature regulation, feeding schedules and water quality but thanks for correcting the "quote" I only just repeated from other sources online. :bigjoint:

i like the Tci led strips that come from estonia because they are cheeper than cobs, have equal or better efficiency than many COB, better spread (imo), and come with drivers. They are easily mounted to 2" wide aluminum U or C channel by using double sided thermal conductive tape. Or if you can score a slate heatsink from somewhere that would be very nice as well, would still require the double sided tape.

unfortunately they arent in stock...but that is the cheapest option... you can email exportestonia for stock inquiry.. i've done it and they put some up to buy immediately! it was weird actually....

around $130 after costs which is including shipping.. all on ebay:
$60 115w of 150lm/w led and drivers
$5 20mm thermal adhesive tape
$25 8'x2"x1" aluminum U channel (heatsink)
$10 8'x3/4" aluminum L channel (frame)
$5 twisty wire caps (stoned idr)
$5 AC power fused female jack

$5 screws and nuts
