I had a tumbler spinner thing years ago u would load buds in turn a handle it would spin leaf and tichs would hit the sides buds wall fall out the bottom but it would smash the buds up and u couldn't use it with fresh

i have a perpetual going where i'm harvesting a plant about every ten days, so its not a huge thing for me to manicure a plant every ten days. if it was a lot more, i'd be damned if i'd be doing it by hand. not sure what i'd get, was kind of looking at the hand powered bowl spinner type trimmers

my old man back in the day would hang dry for 7-10 days after that he would run his hand over the buds breaking the crispy leaf off looked like some blaack dude trimmed it but he use to move a bit back in the early 70s-80s lol

now that i have crammed 3 600w in a 2.3 high tent by a 1.8 long 5 plants in coco will explode this year im going 11 with a f/m rate of 80/20 i should end up with 8 nice girls

As much as I hate trimming weed I do it. I don't care what anyone tries to tell you. There is no way that the weed is bouncing around that bag without trichomes sticking to the sides. I'll stay with my hand trimmed bud. I hate the chore but the finished product is worth it.

As I grow for myself, I normally only trim the first 2/3rds of the harvest before I get bored. The rest gets kept like old style weed, leaves and all.
When it is just right for making great joints you can brush off the large leaves and dry sugar leaves with your hand. Makes some supersmooth bedtime bud.

I just trim the larger buds and some of the smaller ones depending on the density. Everything else gets stripped off the stalk, dried, and made in to dry ice hash.

i cut all the big fans wet, and anything i can get at the stem of. sugar leaves i can't get at the stem of get dry trimmed.

Indicas are so much harder to trim than sativas. Indicas will make you want to buy a machine. I don't though. I just soldier through it and kick myself for not growing sativas this time around.
