I think it depends on how you define the word 'easier'
Why wouldn't life be easy for everyone in a perfect world? If nobody was out to exploit others, life would be easy for everyone as everyone's goal would simply be to succeed. The problem is that people are greedy. I don't blame them for that, greed is an essential part of capitalism. Capitalism requires greed to function. Part of greed is exploitation. It's a position that sits on the fence of morality. It's right to exploit people to increase profits, but it's wrong to exploit people to increase profits. Unfortunately, greed inevitably, always, wins out; it's always right to exploit people to increase profits. Justifications being those profits help other people because they might go to charity, or they might raise wages, or they might increase the amount of jobs said company creates.. When the reality is that they always go to the CEO and the shareholders..
