Hi, I am new to this site, I'm needing some advice. I am growing 3 OG kush 100% fem and they are at 5 weeks in the flowering stage, it looks like they are producing seed sacks at the lower branchers. I am not sure if they have been Pollinated or they is a Hermaphrodite in their with them.
What can I do need to look out for to comfirm that they have been pollinated. If they have been pollinated could I flush my crop now and try saving some bud...

There is not a lot you can do ,If the Pods have all ready Opened then its too late ,You can pick them off ,but it still wont make that much difference ,Once they turn all you can do is hope the seeds are kept to a min ,If the pods are on the lower section of the plants then, try and keep the plant from moving like take the fan of it ,try and stop Pollen from been blown around the room. Will still get bud that will be ok to smoke,But if its for sale you may struggle,to move it.

Good Luck ,Just hope that you are a fair amount into the grow later stages ,.

don't see no balls but she does look like she is growing seeds, I would find out how they got pollinated and fix that ASAP but I would also let her finish, she won't be as good as she could have but she won't be trash either. Good luck!

picking seeds off won't do anything, the changes that make a plant seed happened a long time ago.
look at lower branches, peel buds away from the main stem, look for little yellow flowers. that's where i find them, on the rare occasion.

Do you think these are seed sacks or is it just the buds forming, if they are seed sacks what should I do because there isnt no seed sacks on the tops and I should still get some off the tops if i can some how stop it from spreading or harvest now they are 5 to 6 weeks in flowering? Thanks for the reply

all calyxes are "seed sacks"...they just don't have seeds growing in them. those do. it doesn't "spread"...the calyxes that got pollinated grew seeds, the rest didn't get pollinated, so they didn't. you probably had a temporary hermie, that grew a few flowers, more than likely the plant or plants that are growing seeds now. i'd look carefully at my plants, looking for nanners, little yellow flowers. if you don't see any, you're probably safe now.

Thanx for the info, I will keep a close eye on them and just see how they go, them buds with the sacks on, at the end of flowering, will the bud still smoke or not... cheers bud

sure it will, you just won't get as much usable yield, and it won't be quite as good as un-pollinated bud. the plant had to put some effort into growing those seeds, that could have gone into trichome production. not saying it'll suck, it might be fire, but it could have been a little better

Supposedly seeded pit produces a few cannabinoids that unseeded don't.

In my opinion seeds don't really hurt potency. Just yield.

Fo seeds there had to be pollen at some point. They will look either like a hanging ball or a bunch of bannanas.

If it's not heavily seeded it might be worth growing the seeds out.

How long they been in flower?

What breeder are they from?
