When I said throw it out ,I meant the soil........if its been a few days with nothing and you've got more beans coming then I would concentrate more on the healthy one.........

im using a 600w hps light
600 HPS on seedlings ,you will burn them up dude,Next time you have a bit of cash spare buy a T5 ,it will make no difference to the speed they grow at,or even a Mars 300 LED would suit you for this, use the Big lights once they have a few sets of leaves dude, your doing your self no favours .If you don't want to spend any more money ,take my word for it the money that you will save on veg alone in future and on this will make it worth while.Put a normal daylight spec CFL,over them for time being

@MasterOf Arts You doing something drastically wrong. Maybe it's the soil you using but my one day old seedlings look better than that. I think you should look into getting some Mega Crop and start feeding them at 2 grams per gallon and see if that helps. I start in Jiffy Pellets and as soon as they break through they potted up and fed Mega Crop. Here is a picture of my plants 12 days old from breaking ground. They also get natural sunshine after they a week old to harden them up some.

yeh i think its the soil and the light tbh the soil is only 0.09-0.05-.07 and the 600w light for sure is too big for it, it was great for germinating them but too much for when they broke the surface you have to remember im in the uk so mega crop isnt over here ill have to order some some soil and a CFL

for now best thing i can do is get a normal light bulb and put that over them LUL i just ordered a cfl and will look for some better soil

Maybe look into trying a different type of soil. I use compost that's been cooking for a few years mixed with perlite. I do believe Mega Crop is available in the UK. Check with @GreenleafNutrients to find out where. I have all my seedlings growing in a medium size tote with two 9Watt LED's lighting it. Works for me.

@GreenleafNutrients you available in any stores uk? and yeh the soil is terrible for cannabis plants as light greenhouse save said its for outside but im pretty sure that the light has been killing them off and then the soil is just contributing

While you there pick up some food for them. Just tell them you growing tomatoes, that works for cannabis as well if you in a pinch.
yeh i started another thread regarding the food but ill ask you in here ive set up worm bins but not for this grow my next grow as i dont think its a good idea to be messing about with the nutrients that heavy first grow so i talked to someone irl and they said they used tomato feed their whole grow and worked fine so im thinking of picking up tomorite tomato feed npk is 4-3-8

I use a custom mix from a lab close to me .... cheap as chips. I hear lots use Jacks, I used general purpose miracle grow for years, and lots here are using Megacrop. You shouldn’t need any nutes for the first couple of weeks I wouldn’t think although I hit my outdoor autos with 1/4 strength right from start. All my indoor is hydro.

yeh ive been reading about jacks but i think just picking up tomorite is the way to go only 2 pounds and i know it works good and i dont think there is any labs here in uk if there is , there isnt any by me and only reason im thinking of hitting it with some nutes is cause literally barely anything in the soil lul 0.09-0.05-0.07 the soil is actually miracle grow all purpose (obviously i know you are on about the food miracle not the soil)

Yeah, just start it off slow on that tomato food. like 1/4 strength and see how they respond. If they looking good bump it up a little. Cannabis plants aren't as much food hogs as tomatoes are so start off slow. Mine are responding well to Mega Crop at 5 grams per gallon and they just about three weeks old. Good luck with your ventures. bongsmilie
