those lights are not self ballasted like regular cfls you have to have the fixture or a ballast for the light they sell these at home depot

nah sorry I dont know anything about that but they do sell the light fixture at home depot its about $60 65 if I remember correctly those lights are also mogul based so you would not be able to just screw it into a regular light socket anyway...... hope that helps some

I'm hoping to have 5 plants, thinking of getting 3-4 of these bulbs

The ballast is included in a new fixture Lights of America 100W fluorescent super flood light (92102)

Look elsewhere for lighting. 12/12 from seed is the most effecient way to grow and that can even be done with 27 watt cfls easy.
