It’s not essential especially if the seeds are fresh but for the cost of 1 or 2 cents it’s definitely worth it

Sure, either just virtually no veg time or train the hell out of them. Definitely worth it imo, especially since pure sativa weed is hard to come by since most people grow indicas or hyrbids to sell due to the flowering times. The first time I smoked a pure sativa that was it for me, I was just like fuck this is what I've been missing out on all this time

Of course there are quick flowering and shorter ones but the real magic is in the 16+ weekers that can easily grow over a meter doing 12/12 from seed
