What's up my dudes! (And dudettes )

I took a break from RUI. Tried to stay away from you guys because you are all so inspirational... but you got me. See, every summer I've been doing outdoor grows, it's been a ritual. Order seeds, setup a little spot indoors to get the girls ready before I toss em into the wilderness to get all big and beautiful on me. This year things are different. They have to be. I got my grand plan for the year and when I finally thought I was ready to go...I wasn't. Physically and mentally I just couldn't pull myself to get started.

So I had this idea floating around in my head. Bring my grow inside? Grow on a small scale inside? I pushed it out of my head. I was trying to convince myself I couldn't grow inside and I knew digging around here I'd find a way to make it happen. So I avoided the site. Until last week in the middle of a blunt of afgoo I logged in and started digging. A few hours after digging I had a list. A few days after my list I have a pile of grow equipment sitting in my family room. So follow me along as I put all this crap together and see what this outsider can do inside!

Method
I have about 50 to 70 seeds. Should all be female. Idk if they will all germ but I plan on running through them all. I may not document every seed but the first two or three runs I will update through this so you guys can see me get comfy with this strain.

I will be doing a SOG method. I plan on vegging these between 6 and 12 inches then flipping to flower. I will feed half strength nutes right before and through flower flushing the final week.

I hope you guys are ready for some fuuuuuun. I'm excited to be hanging with my new indoor friends. Welcome this outsider! Pics of the setup tomorrow!!
 
FFOF being delivered today. Wasn't expecting it. Once it's here I will have everything except nutes which will arrive by end of the week. That means today we setup! Today we germinate! Today we begin!!!
 
Tent set up. It is smaller than what I expected. Air filter bigger than expected. Light is what I expected. Should be able to get a very nice SOG going with this light/penetration in this area. I guess I need to get up after this and start the germination process. Later on today I will mix up my soil and get more pics up.

Ok so I just realized I didn't ship my soil to me so I won't be mixing today. Most likely Friday night. Good news is the pbp bloom is arriving with it today so Friday I will be 100% complete. Gonna wait till late tonight to germ them should pop by Thursday or Friday.
 
Picked oout 13 seeds from the stash. They are germinating. Going to pick up soil and nutes tomorrow then probably/ hopefully mix and plant Friday.
 
Mixed up the soil and got the pots filled. This is my first time using ffof and so far i'm impressed with the look and feel. I didn't know it had perlite in it so that was a plus. The coco plus all the extra perlite and the ffof make for some really nice drainage I can tell the roots are gonna love it.

4 seeds popped so they went in the dirt. One is really moving so my plan is to top the ones that grow really fast if I have to. At least until I get 6 more seeds in dirt. Will update when there is more to update. Peace! 20180519_085821.jpg

Thanks for the response! I know I probably won't get much action from the jump but once things really get going...

The light is a 900w plizon led. I believe the actual wattage is 220.
 
I'm watching too Dave, been wondering what kind of seeds you're going to plant?

Also you talked about soil and foxfarm but you showed a picture of Coco, so I'm not sure what you're growing in?

I'm planting some seeds I got from a grower whose buds I really enjoy. They are dragon kush(red dragon×og kush) crossed with grape Ape. So dragon kush x Grape Ape.

I'm growing in FFoF with the addition of coco and perlite .

A couple to three weeks will be the sweet spot. They veg for 2-3 weeks regardless of schedule because they have to be sexually mature to flower. The extra light the first few weeks makes a big difference. Anything besides our sativas will finish around 12-15 inches.
 
Thanks for the input guys. I have 8 seeds cracked and in dirt. 1 has shown its head above dirt. Hopefully in the next day or so 2 more pop so i can fill the last 2 pots.

How much were you yielding per plant that size?
