I tried to boil the stems in a pot and and mix the water with koolaid and sugar and it didn' taste too good. maybe I'm do8ng something wrong? All parts of the cannabis plant have medicinal cannabinoids but the stem especially is very low in THC but has quite a bit of terpenes and other good stuff. Rub a stem sometime and smell your fingers. Can't tell me that isn't medicine.
Cannabis roots are supposed to be really good as are many plant's roots. What are carrots, turnips, parsnips, ginger etc other than big, fat roots. Going to be harvesting a bunch of dandelion and nettle roots this year. Lots of wild rose on my property too so plenty of rose hips for the taking. More wild strawberries every year too. Small but so damn tasty.
Did I mention the saskatoons?
Wife does a big veggie garden every year too. The usual peas, carrots, tomatoes etc and this year she's planting 365 onions, 225 garlic of 3 varieties, bunch of shallots, leeks, and a first this year, asparagus.
No room for tobacco or pot plants tho. Going to stick some auto seeds in big pots and see how they do outside with our 20 hour days most of the summer. Way the hell up north so regulars never finish in time.
Could always simmer the stems in water for an hour, cool and strain, then use it for making kool aid.
Worth a shot.
Most likely just what stem soup tastes like more than anything you might have done wrong.I tried to boil the stems in a pot and and mix the water with koolaid and sugar and it didn' taste too good. maybe I'm do8ng something wrong?
Distillate? I've never heard of it. What exactly is it?just make edibles. you need to use something like distillate to make beverages that dont taste bad
Lmao. I was just talking to someone the other day about THC infused alcohol. Most likely just what stem soup tastes like more than anything you might have done wrong.
Maybe skip the artificially coloured and flavoured koolaid next time and add lots of vodka. Still going to be nasty but after a couple cups you won't care any more.
I just burn my stems.
Shit works good. Dissolve some BHO in EverClear then dilute it down with water or better yet add it to a bottle of your favourite tipple and be careful. I had about a half bottle of Jamaican rum treated like that and nothing around the house when I felt like having a few drinks. Ended up drinking it all and was f'ed up for days.Lmao. I was just talking to someone the other day about THC infused alcohol.
I have mine in a Pyrex pie plate on top of a pot of simmering water and stir it lots to get any solvent out. Might make a vac chamber and use one of my air pumps to supply vacuum and try that. Just have to hook up to the intake end of the pump to get decent vac but not too concerned. You'll breathe in more nasty hydrocarbons taking a walk in a city than you'll get from smoking ounces of oil.what' the best way to purge your bho if you don' have a vacuum chamber?
So you just give yours a hot water bath and stir in the process? nothing else?I have mine in a Pyrex pie plate on top of a pot of simmering water and stir it lots to get any solvent out. Much ado about nothing.
I make tincture with stems and roots quite often. Really good for inflammation. All parts of the cannabis plant have medicinal cannabinoids but the stem especially is very low in THC but has quite a bit of terpenes and other good stuff. I don't know exactly what you are doing but mine always come out as an oil whether ISO, naphtha or butane. So you just give yours a hot water bath and stir in the process? nothing else?
I do the same thing and this is what I get.. Am I doing something wrong?
I bet it is. Just putting some of my Otto#1 pot in some coconut oil to cook me up some cocobudder. Almost no THC and lots of CBD. Wife's chicken lady friend is getting some to try. She got some tincture made with Critical Mass that helps but the resulting buzz is not to her liking so she'll be a good test subject. As will I. Ran out of the stuff I made with Critical Mass CBD I bought from a compassion club a couple weeks ago and my joint pain has been getting progressively worse. Smoking the Otto doesn't do much so hopefully the cocobudder does.I make tincture with stems and roots quite often. Really good for inflammation.
