Looking for qb grows that are 1kw or larger. Please post your pictures or link to your thread. I see a lot of small buds from led but i wonder if its because people are just doing a small 200 watt grow.
Who has the largest quantum board grow?

I was running around 1200w in my 4x8 but only 570w was Quantum Boards and the rest was Cobs so I guess I don't count.
Maybe @Moflow could chime in, think he's running some wattage.
The only reason i can see for some folks growing "small" buds is because a lot of folks opt to scrog or train multi cola plants. If more folks did single cola plants or typically xmas tree looking plants with a dominant main then there would be more examples of coke bottle size colas. Its a case of grow one huge main and some smalls or many many small-mediums.
As a wet trim guy I never saw the attraction to big colas. I mean who buys an oz on a huge stalk?
Anyhow, I cant think of any other names of the top of my head. But I know there are guys running 1000-2000w mark on here and im sure they will pop in.

I run scrog and with my 1kw hps i pull a field of of good chunky buds. I just want to see some led grows doing the same. I want to get some QB's but id like to see some good results from seasoned growers. No offence intended to anyone but most of the led crowd is very new growers doing small grows. Some of it does look really good, even from the new users an small scale, but when i lmstart looking for good pictures an scanning threads i see a lot of bad examples so im hoping some people smashing it chime in here

Oh yeah I hear you there man. There are a lot of newbs go straight to LED and lots doing really small grows.
Mine aint what I would call big particularly, but they are the same size as they were with my old HPS lights.
There might be some good examples in a thread called "does anyone grow weed around here" or something along those lines if you search for thread titles. Greengenes started that thread out of frustration due to all the talk and not enough documentation of LED grows.
I only have a few pics that I thought I would keep now im not growing, previously I either never took pics or if I did I would upload and delete from PC (been illegal)

For what its worth im looking to build a 1350 watt fixture to cover a 5x5 scrog. Wont be cheap, and dont want to waste my time an money for no reason. Id like to "know" it will perform

I don't understand the big cola fixation either. Potent, tasty bud is potent, tasty bud. Why does size matter? We're growing meds, not filming porn. But hey, to each their own, I suppose...

I see a lot of 1/3 gram lookin buds get posted an honestly i just hash stuff that size. Im not going after a 1 oz cola im after 1-7g bud scrogs like my 1kw hps produces. If led cant do it then there is zero point.

Poke around the threads here a little more. So many grows with buds considerably larger than 1/3 gram. If you're on IG, check out #ledgrown for a plethora of LED bud pics.

I think you may suffer from "small bud harvest" and are trying to normalize your condition, otherwise i think youd get what im saying. I posted a average size im looking for cery clearly in grams not inches.

Nice try, but no. I simply don't care. I've said it before, and I expect I'll say it again, but all that matters to me is that it tastes good and is effective medicine. Anything beyond that is - in my opinion - the reverse of your "normalization" theory: growers trying to impress people via "bag appeal". Bragging rights. Braggadocio. I just don't give a fuck. But it's your grow, and I definitely think every grower should be happy with their results, whether I understand their motives or not. So best of luck.

No. Im trying to power it strong enough that it wont really need a lot of reflection. Hopefully. Big size, density, and frostyness are my main concern and hitting between .5 an 1 gpw. May be hard without reflective walls.

Give me 5 weeks and I'll let everyone know. I'm testing two 324 boards in a tent I bought just to test quantums in. I'm a hps 1k's guy since early 2000s. I totally agree with the small buds being shown by alot of guys but i figured alot has to do with experience level.

K thanks. Not sure why your posting in my thread if your not addressing the topic or even giving a damn about it. But your right that everyone should enjoy what they do. Thats the basic point im at, i dont want to change something thats working well for me for years and im enjoying for no reason, maybe you get it from that angle.
