Friday flower update!

Things are getting frosty in here! Blue Cookie is doing her thing well...really few leaves and very symmetrical buds. Gelatos are bushy bitches. Odd thing is they are not getting much taller....should I release the LST tie downs that are keeping them trained?

Fourth (or Fifth) Friday Flower Update!

Blue Cookie is one fine lady. The nugs are ridiculously dense...how I acheived this is beyond me.

Gelato apparently wants to fuck herself and get some cookie nookie too! Found a few open pollen sacs on all 3 of the Gelato plants. Maybe 6 or 7 on one and 2 or 3 on the other two. I pinched them all and can only hope this was not a serious nut bust on the lady parts.

I also removed all LST restraints and they seem to have liked that as they are growing quite a bit. I trimmed the fuck out of the Gelatos in search of balls but they didnt seem to mind.

The grow goes on.

Awesome cabinet. Am thinking about doing a hydro cabinet with an aquarium tank with fish on top to take any supspicion away. Looking for ideas of what equipment to use. Never used leds. Been seeing some good results. Maybe add a co2 bag with it for bigger yeilds??

Sixth Friday Flower Update!

Girls are looking good, no more pollen sacs have formed that I can find and no nanners anywhere. The "X-Woman" Blue Cookie is really filling in all over that mini mainline manifold. Gelato is filling in nicely as well but there will be larf. I will let them run 2 more fridays then lights out till Sunday after and chop Sunday night. I will just dry them in the cabinet as I have nothing going after this nor will I till November when the temps allow again. Cant keep my place at 68 during the warmer months and the cab gets way too hot even at 70. Its been a fun run though!

I'm kinda puzzled and humored by how short these ladies are haha...maybe 7" tall...

Blue Cookie...I love how symmetrical and easy to maintain this plant has been, wish I had more of her beans. Sad.

Post me a link of your aquarium cab when you do it!! CO2 would be awesome, I may try it next grow season since the cab is on point and needs no upgrades.

Day of chop, can't wait for the 4th of July! Been a fun 4 months and I have learned a lot. No clue whag the yield will be as these ended up being midget plants. Things look tasty and frosty! Drying setup is the same box as the grow was in because the temps are up here and I can't grow again till November. We have rain today so the humidity is stupid in the home but I am keeping it around 52% in the box, going to try to get that down to 49%. Hung them whole and I did not defoliate as I do not want these girls to dry out too fast on me. Any tips for the drying or curing process?

Great journal! I’ve got a small grow going on. How much did you end up yielding?
Sorry for the major late response on this one. I ended up with around 48 grams of damn good buds that kept me nice and baked all of July that year! The Blue Cookie was much better than the Gellato but I got a lot more of the Gellato out of the 3 plants thab the 1 plant of Blue Cookie...no surprise there.

And....here we grow again! I dusted off the cob webs after a Super Silver Haze bean decided to sprout. Im excited to be farming again! This time I will just tend to this one plant and see how big I can get her in this cabinet. Just a seedling for now but I will post more as I go. I have to relearn all of this as 2 years away has melted all the detailed knowledge I had from my first run besides the general ideas and apparently I was a really shitty note taker.

Only thing Im going to add this time is an auto drip irrigation device for my week long snowboard trips out west.

Woohoo for IL becoming recreationally legal Jan 1!!! Still cant grow rec but Im working on my med card to be fully compliant...till then stealth stash it is!

Friday update: Im not sure how to read what the leaves are doing. The first 2 larger leaves have scrunched tips and then the next newest set seems to be asymmetrical. Any ideas? Temps are around 78-80* F. Humidity is a bit low but im keeping a clear cup over the seedling to give it a greenhouse effect with frequent water mistings. Im not feeding any nutrients at this time as the soil is a bit rich; 1/3 FF Ocean Forest, 1/3 FF Happy Frog, and 1/3 Perlite. (Same as last grow)

Friday update: gaining some height and new leaves, now everything is looking symmetrical. I apparently overwatered her so she was feeling a bit down. Letting things dry up a bit.

Temps have been under 80* F all week in the box and im trying to stabilize it between 75 and 77*. Humidity is still a challenge but it is bouncing between 45% and 65%, it spikes when the light goes off.

I got an automatic watering solution for my upcoming trip, seems pretty nice, runs on AAA batteries and is very simple to operate. Right now it will be watering for 45 seconds once a day every day...when the soil dries up a bit more.

2 of the lower leaves have some brown spots developing on them but nowhere else so I am not going to get concerned with that at the moment.

Steady as she goes! So much easier dealing with 1 plant rather than 4 in my first grow!

What do you guys think. Too early for the first mainlining chop? I'm looking to keep her as short as possible and SSH may be hard to keep that way.

Friday update before 9 days away from home!!

She is picking up speed growing now, I'm tempted to top her today before I leave to start the mainline manifold but I don't know if its wise...I may wait till I get back but if she pumps while im gone I may have too tall of a plant to work with.

Environmentals have been looking good all week.

Friday update: im in Utah and left my girl fully unattended, yet automated and she is blowing up in the box. I may have fucked up a bit cause I have not been there to train the manifold but damn is she growing! Ill be home Sunday night to take care of her but for now she is left to thrive! Screen shot from my security cam looks kinda sweet!

Back from UT and she got bushy! I did a proper trim of unwanted shoots and pinned the 2 mains down with wire. My swamp cooler ran out of water so the box got into the low 80s a few days but I don't think it mattered. Things are back under control now.

Friday update. Things are moving along and I now pinned down the next manifold splits. I will give her a bit longer before the final topping but Im excited to see 8 tops develop on her! This plant is a beast compared to what I grew last time. Still hoping to keep her short enough to finish in this small cabinet...we shall see. Temps and humidity in check since my return, I love this little Bluetooth temp sensor.

Did the final chop tonight, might be a bit early but its done now. I will have 8 tops. Not 100% sure how tall I should let them grow before flipping to flower. Im thinking 10-12" from the top of the manifold.
