going back to 18/ after two weeks in to 12/12

hi growers so i put my plants into 12/12 almost 2 weeks a go and they started showing sex 2 being female and one showing it will be hermaphrodite. i will kill off the hermaphrodite but that plant took up half my grow space. my question is how long will it take for the female plants to go back in to vegetative grow. my lesson of the day is don't try new strains and let them grow big. is it a big waste of time going back to 18/6 for 2 more week then back to 12/12 or will it take 2 weeks for the plant to even want to re-veg again. also i started giving bloom last week so is it bad to go back t veg nutrients with out flushing

There’s no guarantee it will veg again properly in 2 weeks different strains take different amounts of time, I just reverted a few different strains back to veg from less than 2 weeks in flower and 2 out of the 4 ripped back off in a couple weeks showing normal leaf growth and the other 2 took over a month and were still showing mutations all over so they were thrown out and I wasted my time

Re-veg is a waste of time.

2 easy thanks for some info. this will be my 1st time attempting to go back to veg after two weeks on 12/12 but id rather lose 4 weeks over getting fuck all this run haha 100% going to always take cutting and sex that 1st from now on only question on that is do i need to let the cutting establish roots under 18/6 hours light for several weeks then put them under 12/12 until they show sex. my guess is yes but maybe clones will show sex with out roots then die idk

I put mine in the bottle of water in the flower tent 7 to 10 days tells me what it is. No need to root no need to veg, so long as the plant is mature enough. Toss cutting when you're done.

Search revenged plant on google you can get some idea, also the stems were all bunched up sprouting from one area

This is not from my own experience so don’t take my word for it as I haven’t tried it myself but I read recently that you can take a cutting and leave it in the dark for 3 days or so and it will show you its sex

hmmm well you said learn by your mistakes is the best way to learn i have to try it but thanks for the info so i know what to maybe expect

the ones i am putting back under 18/6 hadn't show sex i don't know if it makes any difference?? but i know there female but they had been under 12/12 for 2 weeks. i am hopeful they will re veg right back if not my clones of the female strain will be ready to flower in the 4 weeks ill take
