I use need oil for everything . Use neem oil but you have to hurry before bud sites start forming . It's ok to use now because your basically still in veg/stretching phase. And always remember to use neem oil thru the entire grow even if there's no bugs/fungus its still great for preventative maintenance . Home Depot carry (triple action neem oil). Since you in flower hurry up and spray rite away then spray every 3days until bud sites start forming . Although you not suppose to use it in flower it's not to late good luck

i prefer spinosad myself, very low toxicity (to humans), short half life, they say you can use it the day before harvest, but i try not to ever spray anything on a bud if i can help it. and it doesn't stink like 3 week old chinese food, like neem oil does

i'm not sure what you mean by a hot box. if you say hot box to a gardener its a covered box, possibly heated, for starting plants early outside, called a cold frame in some places, a hot box in others.
i'm supposing it's something like an incubator that you can turn up the heat in to kill the mites. would probably work, but i'm not sure what temp it requires to kill them, and how much damage it would do to your plant.
