so i decided to switch to led since i didnt really like my results with cfl. I now have a 300W Viparspectra LED light in a 2x2x4 tent and im running 3 Fem Swiss Cheese in a Deep Water Culture system. I had the top feed for about 2 weeks til the roots were in the water.

Sprout may 19
Seedling may 25/1st res. Change nutrients added
June 6th Res Change reduced nutes
Veg. June 9th topped Down to 3rd node

Questions: Why are only the leafs on one plant turning and all the others seem fine?
Around how much can i expect to get out of this set up?
Are my roots early root rot or is it just nute stained?

whats your ppm /ph ?
When I started I ph’ed to 6.5 but it rose to 7.5. After my res changes I’ve ph’ed to 6.3 or lower but no lower than 5.5. an don’t have a Ppm meter Also I use GH flora series and Hydroguard to prevent/deal with root rot but.....

8B292F83-BF93-4CF9-88C7-D35797F3758F.jpeg It’s hard to tell in your leds but it looks like brown patches give it a sniff test. Tug alittle on them if they break off easy there’s rot. I would keeping your ph Down a bit more if your not using cleated nutrients and increase your doseage of hydrogaurd. If that’s what your using as a good bacteria. I’m fairly new into the rdwc and I tried the sterile route my first run it worked using h2o2. Tried for the start of the run I’m on now failed miserably trying to use bleach. So as my last stab at it to fix my rotten roots I’ve bee using plantacillin and GW tea brewed 36hrs. A6141FEE-A4C8-49E0-93BB-D62DD5FC17AC.jpeg I’m using AN ph perfect I find it worth it the little extra it may cost. I read as long as it stays in 4-8 ph your plant will still get all its nutrients. It’s working great in the dwc

That’s about 10 days of good growth since I switched to plantacillin and GW

An old guy here in Alaska wanted to do DWC. We advise on EC meters and pH crap. He announces he's going simple with AN pH Perfect and using by jug instructions. Incredible crop.

They seem to be doing fine I’ll probably flip them tomorrow to 12/12 to give it a whole 31 days veg
