Can I get some advice on which light setup you guys at HLG would reccomend for a 2x4 tent, start to finish?

(2) Qb288 v2 3000k 135w kits
or
(1) Qb288 v2 3000k 260w xl kit
or
(1) Qb288 v2 3000k 320w xl Kit
Get the 320 that's easily the best choice only reason for the others is if you can't afford the 320

Hey man. Will using one of these HLG’s reduce room temps. Conpared to my hps. If so, how much?
Depends. What wattage is your HPS? No one can tell you how much of a reduction in heat you'd see by switching to QBs; there are far too many factors involved. But considering that you wouldn't need more than 60% of the wattage you're currently using, you should be able to cool things down a bit.

Im running a 600 watt in a 4 by 4 closet.

Im reaching 82 degrees, if i put the fan full blast it gets better, but my pregnant wife hates the noise.

Ive been eying led’s for a while now. This could be my chance lol

Well you'll want the tent temp to run around 80-85 with LEDs, so if you spring for the new light, turn your exhaust down. Due to the lack of IR in LEDs, the leaf temps tend to be lower, and that affects transpiration.

What's your budget?

80-85 for led’s? Is that the norm? Weird i havent picked up on that info .

I can dish out about a grand right now
Under white-light LED, yeah, that's the norm. There are a few growers here who have success with temps in the mid-70's, but they are certainly the exception.

Unless you're interested in going DIY, this would be my recommendation:

Dim it to around 350-400w if you want to equal the 600w HPS. Or run it higher and start pulling more weight.

I appreciate the info brother . I like the QB’s. Extra head room !

Only efficiency of the fixture, or also how much light actually ends up on the plants? Because that's where the boards seem to be lacking somewhat compared to other options. Plus perhaps price?
my main metric i should say. i run in tenets and dont use reflectors on my cobs. mid power diodes throw light at same angle
