Northen Lights - ready to harvest? (bud pics)

This is my first grow and I am afraid not to harvest early out of excitement :D

What do you experts think? Is it ready???

No where near done bro,by taking her down now you will be doing your self out of the real profile.I would say at least 2 week perhaps even 3.NL,normally will put crowns of when she's looking like she's ready .

Great job by the way for your first go,bet ya well chuffed,You will be a lot happier if you leave her to finish of ,You might not believe it ,but I say that this plant will more than likely double in weight if you leave it .

I have run NL ,a fair bit and it normally takes around 10 week in my room ,but all ways producers well.Love the Old school strains ,Like Northern Lights Bubblegum Ak47,im not a massive fan of Big Bud ,Or Orange Bud.But I'm sure it will be a smoke you will not forget,all ways great to try the first strain you ever grow.Mine was Ak47,wardrobe grow loved it.

Aaaah I was so sure it was ready - I was going to harvest her in 2 - 3 days.

I checked the guide at growweedeasy and it's easy to get it wrong if you don't have experience.

Since I thought it was the right time I cut the nutrition and have been flushing for about 10 days.

Should I give it more nutrition or continue flushing?

You will see the difference in a couple of week,it will have a totally different look to it,I would even be Tempted to hit it with something like Overdrive for a few days to be honest .But honest dude leave it ,the weight difference will be un real.You can't Beat the Old School vibes these strains have.They bring with each one Memories,Northern Lights Reminds me of Rory ,and Stone Love .

Feed her she’ll swell way more. Good the you asked and didn’t cut it down yet you would have maybe ended with a few grams dried and mostly unsmokable. How did you gather it was ready from growweed easy?

Slowly start to add Nutes again ,raising them over the next week or so.Add pictures like you have done with this one to these kinda sites ,I stay clear of those kinda tings grow easy .I would bet money most of the plants on grow easy are got from other growers .If a strain say 8 week then add a bit to that each rooms different,The info you got from that telling you to harvest ,could have cost you a fair bit of bud ,these tops you have took photos of.will end up been compact and have a totally different look to them ,when there done.The last few week in Flowering are the most Important ,and it's when most new growers mess up.But in those final 3 week is when the plant gets its profile and weight .

I will start feeding her from today. To me, my plant looks more like the "ready to harvest" photos they have rather the "not ready".

Thanks for the detailed advice! The weird thing is that the plant said it needs 8 - 10 weeks, and it's been almost 12 weeks by now :S
I guess it might be because of the soil/light combination. BTW I have it indoors and use only the sunlight.

Your getting that itch. 8-10 weeks are in optimal conditions for a particular pheno. Since a variety of phenos can be expressed from a given strain they won’t match the breeder packs. Always count on more time than they say. Plus there are tons of different environmental variables to consider. Your tent/room will be different than mine or any other grower. There’s lots of things to keep in mind with this plant. Just give her time trust me she’ll start to swell. Also do you have a jewelers loupe? If not you should get one to check the trichromes that will help complete the equation of “ is it done”.

Definitely not ready. There is a lot of swell left. NL is an Indica and tend to have fat dense buds. You will look back on this in a few weeks and wonder how you could possibly have thought those buds were done. Looks solid for a first grow. Enjoy.
