Hey guys, so this is my first real grow apart from years ago with a friend of mine, but that's besides the point.
So I've recently ordered myself a 2x4 tent and 600w dimmable HPS/MH kit and plan on sticking this in the closet. I'll be running a 6" inline fan and carbon filter/scrubber vented to the closet. I haven't bought the fan or filter yet as I'm wondering recommendations on some of the quieter ones that can easily push the stink out of my 2x4. I've heard a 6" running at a lower speed is still quieter than a 4" running at full tilt. If sound is an issue I can put in a silencer.
Now my biggest issue I'm having right now is soil. The seeds have been germed and placed in soil yesterday. I ended up buying the Promix HP as it was the only soil I could find without slow release nutrients in it. As this is a soilless mix, I will have to add nutrients sometime around the first week of growth. Any recommendations on nutrients made for a soilless grow? Should I mix worm castings or anything else to the soil before mixing into the final pot? Or should I just go with a regular feeding schedule?
