It’s just not booze, I’m involved with a company that has developed a method to turn canabinoids water soluble. This is revolutionary, infused bottled water that you will feel the effects in 5 min and will last for 90 min after consumed. You heard it here first.

Itsme.
Yeah, limited to less than 100mg a bottle through regulations.....
If the cannabinoids were sold separately and could be mixed in like those single serve flavorings for bottled water at a strength of your choosing, its a homerun. If not, I hope its cheap because I aint drinking 10+ bottles of water in a sitting to maybe feel something. Sounds exactly like Palcohol, but for cannabis and that did ..........not so well to be polite

i'm surprised you all are surprised. the government legalized to make a profit. they didn't do it so you all could do what you wanted to do.
of course they're going to be talking to big business, that's where the money is. that's what it's all about. they don't care about people, or medicine, they care about money. expect breakfast cereal, chips, toothpaste, hair care products, and toilet paper all made with weed soon......

Except for the fact that the other items you listed are sold using free market capitalism. Cannabis in Canada is being sold using crony capitalism. If only it were like those products, where the best can prosper and if the competition can't make it, it is due to their own faults and wrong doings. Not because higher ups restrict the market in order to limit competition to protect the vested interests of others

right now they're sold using free market capitalism, as soon as someone offers the government enough money, they'll get preferential treatment. maybe not blatantly, but they'll get it.

Might want to look into the current LPs and tell me how many mom n pops have been allowed? Ah yes, thats right. All multi million dollar corporate funded businesses run by former govt officials and former police and RCMP. Seems you have it backwards.....

i think we're missing each others points....my point is that all rules, including free market capitalism, goes in the trash as soon as money enters the picture.
so even though you say weed is different than the other products i mentioned, it isn't, once they figure out a way to incorporate weed into it.
once they start using it in alcohol, once they start using it in hair and skin care products, the rules for those products change. free trade capitalism goes out the window, and the people who have the most money make the new rules.
