Never Tell or show pics!!!

I do not think I am being paranoid when I say that there are probally some law enforcement folks that scan this and other sites for knowledge of whats going on in our world of growing. With that being said, As we are having success with certain seed banks, Please people, never show a pic of how the seeds were shipped, or give a description. All that would do is alert the pigs to tell customs what to look for. I worked for the government for 20 years. The employees are not brain surgeons by any means. They have mundane jobs that cause them to lose focus. If they are tipped off as to what to look for, we may start suffering in the end.

My personal advice is to stock up on seeds. If you can do an order a month do it. If things keep going the way they are in the US, we will be shut out of that market, so stock up now, be smart, an most of all SHUT UP!!!!

if "they" wanted to know what the packaging or shipping methods were they would order the seeds. Most likely they already have and already are aware of how everything is shipped...

Jeez, ya think? Naw, it would be far simpler to spend their days on a site like this, with the vast numbers of threads begun by people who either don't read or don't comprehend what they read, secure in the knowledge that they will get their guy if they just tough it out.

I'm sorry, but the whole concept that we're feeding them that type of information (shipping information) just boggles my mind. If they want to know, and they do, then all they have to do is place an order themselves. Occam's Razor applies.

Actually, I really don't think its good advice at all.. I'd prefer to know exactly what to expect when ordering seeds.. Definately helps if somebody gets curious about an overseas package.. The last thing I'd want is for a big package like a back-pack to show up while inlaws were visiting without an explanation handy..
You look really wierd saying "I don't know whats in the box from england, but I'm going to open it later privately..".. Much better if you can have a story appropriate for your package well devised that won't interest anybody..

Well let's agree to disagree and agree, b/c boths sides of this coin have a very legitimate point. From my prespective, I as a noob would've never attempted or tried several times to recieve if I didn't have good info coming. The flip side of that is I do want to keep this privelage I have acquired. So why not all of us in the know, began to answer those who are not, w/ pm and have them post to the board that their question was answered, thread closed so others are not enticed to put that info on display. Po Po ain't stupid so they probably either care or don't care to put forth the effort. And their is plenty of info on here already that should be able to guide them through the process and if not they really shouldn't be ordering anyway :joint:

I agree, we should be discreet about the details.

I am still very new to this board and the most annoying thing to me is the SAME fucking question EVERY DAY!! Is this place good or is that place good, when in the first two pages of this board there are multaple page posts giving reviews/discussions of every seed bank out there.

The info is great to have, and it is all here for everyone, but the beating of the dead horse every day gets old. Even though I am new, I wish to protect what we have here.

Very similar to a cigar board, "where can I order Cubans from?" same thing , and in the end same results, letters from OFAC/customs and legal issues and fines, who would have thought, its only some cigars. Sources are protected, and patrons are very tight lipped.
same but different, sorry to go off topic but I have seen it before.

Can I hear an Amen?!? I have asked this before but what is stealth or stealthy? If I was selling seeds and shipped them taped to a 10 pound brick and there were hundreds or 10 pound bricks coming through the mail.. is that stealth? So if hundreds of packages are coming through do you think they can spot the one that has your seeds in in by just looking at it? Probably not! If I laid all my orders in their original packages on the table you couldn't not tell they contained anything "strange" by just looking at them.

I honestly believe it's just the luck of the draw. Customs picks up your package, and decides that is the one they want to look at. I'm sure there may be some criteria or "flags" they look for but for anyone that got seeds knows the package is not out of the ordinary so unless they want to check every single package I think they just randomly select one.

Just my 2 cents so order your seeds just understanding that you may have a package or two picked off by customs.

Any idea how many packages travel overseas everyday? Its just not realistic to think they could nab them on appearance, they'd need to have the outgoing postal district flagged, and all mail from there redirected for customs attention.. This would victimize all legal mail from that district, causing major delays..
Much more effective to use dogs, and binary division to find contraban throughout the whole lot of parcels..
