Yup that says it all. I got 8 (9 including the auto in the middle) fems in a 4x4 under a scrog net.

~day 67
7 gallon pots
Roots organic original
Down to earth all purpose for veg
Down to earth rose and flower for flower
400 meh for veg
600 has for flower

Flip soon? I’ve read that it’s good to fill 70% then flip and tie down. Is that the consensus?

have you considered moving the auto close to the door (and select another shorty for the middle) so that when its done, you can access it easily without disturbing the rest of the gals?

Hard to say when to flip unless u have grown that cut before. Id say fill the screen at least 80% then flip and keep tucking until stretch has finished.

Are you tucking now? It just doesn't look like it on my little screen is all. If your not then you should be.

My plan is to work the photos from the outside Inward so they have the best light angle. I’m not sure how much time left the auto has, it’s got to finish soon, I germmed in the first week in April. I don’t think I want to start rearranging the order now. It should be easy to snip the two colas in one go without disturbing the others. I really appreciate the suggestion man

The method involves letting the branches grow through the holes and then tying them down to the screen with garden ties, letting them grow up and tying down again. makes more sense to me than weaving I stress out thinking they’re gunna snap.

How much do u think is filled now

I like it a lot fuller than that before flipping. The auto can be cut out when it's done and keep you happy until the rest are finished.

I tend to go a bit overboard tho and have branches overlapping others and if I reach the edge of the screen just turn the tip around once it's grown enough to turn and send it back across. Extra veg time converts to larger yields.

Plants are looking nice and healthy!

Appreciate your insight man. Unfortunately, I have time constraints and I have to flip sooner than I’d like because of vacationing reasons. Going to keep veggin though

Update is that I flipped a week from yesterday, earlier than I would have wanted. Tied down them all down today for the first time since I tied them down before flipping. Going on vacation next week so I want to tie them down one more time before I let them grow strait up. Got the light about 15” from the canopy, temps are nice at the moment 76f. I adjusted my 260cc exhaust fan so it’s able to suck out more heat and it worked. So far everything is going to plan. Can’t wait to see all the tops turned up

You need to keep tucking. Everyday. You want it nice and flat when stretch stops.
77% is high in flower.. Maybe do a good trimming to slow down the amount of transpiration. Look into buying a small dehumidifier. I use a Ionmax ION681. Its reasonably priced and has an auto set.

Yes it is pretty full but there is more room. Hahah I hope I’m not fucked. I have about 40 inches above the canopy to play with. I’m going on vacation Thursday and going to tie them down one more time tomorrow before I let them go. The rh was at 55 today much improved.. I ran some ducting out the window to get the heat and humidity out of the room also ran some ducting from my 260cfm exhaust toward the middle of the plants near the light. Temps and humidity were perfect after that. Fingers crossed nothing goes wrong while I’m on vacation

He has heaps of room, you can see the pots thru the screen. Have a close look at the pictures taken from above'ish.
Id rather be looking for room and scratching my head than end up with wasted space -ive done that.

Bro thats kind of a side shot, of course youll see the pots. Look inside the scrog frame. Can you see any pots now? I would add an extension scrog, wasting light and space that way though. Next time he should flip when its 70% full. Thats just my two cents.

if you flip at 70% this is what you end up with:

By not waiting like the more experienced scroggers do I cost myself 6 or more ounces. Would of made the difference from just a pound to well over a pound.

Look you may know more than me and have done hundreds of scrogs, I'm just sharing my experience. OP can listen to everybody's opinion and do as they feel fit and what suites them. We don't all grow the same.

How many scrogs have you done? Pics?
Have you ever even done a scrog? Might be rude to ask, but people are always giving others advice on here without any practical experience.


OP, you can see the little dehumidifier in the middle bottom of that shot, they take up a very small space.

Im working on an auto scrog right now, outdoors. The flood tray is a 4x4 tray.
Im still new to scrogging (2nd actual scrog) but common sense tells me that if he flipped to 12/12 a week ago and his screen is literally filled out to the point its overgrowing to the sides and he has two more weeks of stretch then the colas might grow too tall. Isnt the desired cola heights through the net 8 to 12 inches (please correct me if im wrong).
