Humidity and temp troubles

ok so I’ve got a shed. I’ve built a smaller room inside that has a window a/c unit enclosed with it to help keep temps down and humidity but now that I’m starting with flowering stage I’ve installed my 6inch Ipower fan and carbon filter and now the temps have gone up cus it’s just sucking all the cooler air out and making the a/c unit run twice as much now and humidity has spiked up to 70-75%. I was thinking of buying a speed controller for the fan cus it seems like it’s pulling way to much. Any suggestions on how you guys would handle the problem?

Couple things...
Yes, you should get a fan speed controller. You shouldn't have to run your fan wide open at all times. If you do, you might need a larger fan. But that's not what you need. Your fan should be fine.

In order to keep your conditioned air in the room, you need to isolate your hood air from the environment air, which is how I've got mine set up. To do this, you need an air cooled hood, and a fan controller for this fan as well. I'm going to guess that you have one (air cooled hood). A lot of people set these up with the intake duct port open, which sucks the environment air out of the room. To isolate the air, you need two fans, and a port to bring in outside air to pass through the hood. This is the intended setup, and will help maintaining temps a breeze in comparison to what you're fighting right now.

Take a look at my grow room thread (link in my signature box). I've got lots of pics of my setup in there. I'm running a 1000 watt light, and I keep my canopy temps around 77, with ease.

The duct on the left draws cool air from below the house, via a port holes in the floor

The air is drawn through the hood with this 6" fan, and is exhausted into the attic

The exhaust duct is insulated because it can get kind of warm, exhausting the hot light air. I've actually taken this off as it really wasn't warming up much at all. My setup has changed quite a bit, but this fan setup is the same.

Also, do you have your window ac in the shed wall, so that the ass end of the ac is outside, or do you have it mounted in the interior wall, so that the back end is still within the shed?

You need to have the back end outside in order to exhaust the heat. If it's contained within the shed, you won't be exhausting the heat correctly.

I’m running led lights so they don’t get to hot so I don’t need the air flow through them I’ve just set my carbon filter up it’s a 6inch ipower and it’s pulling to much cool air out I’ve got my speed controller coming in tomorrow I will set it up and slow down the fan 50% and see if that will slow it down from taking to much cool air out

Yes I’ve got my ac unit ass end out side but I’m in Florida so it’s really hot during summer so temps spike up in shed

How mini? Those little ones don't do much... and I suspect you need something that works well being in FL.

The reason I recommend inkbird style humidity controller because it will turn your fan on and off when the humidity reaches a certain level so it's not always running and removing the cool air from the environment

Something that'll help your ac work better is to put something above it outside to provide some shade. If the back end is baking in the sun, it won't be able to disappate the heat as well.

Speed controller should solve the issue you're having.

Yes that’s one of the projects I still have to do is put a shade part over the ac cus it just bakes in the sun and runs non stop at that point.
And at this point in time I don’t have it insulated but I plan on it here in the next grow this grow was a emergency move had a situation at my other spot so was only left with this option or killing them
