That's mejust go to the link below, pick your space or as close to it and the hard work is done for you. Same number (or more) of the same (or better) diodes than a QB. Totally customisable, fuck all shipping when compared to a QB as well. Digikey will deliver all this stuff in a few days provided they're in stock.

The only reason I'd buy a quantum board is if I was feeling lazy and couldn't be fucked knocking it together myself
Yeah I guess coz only one supplier in aus will make you pay whatever for it haha which strip like the Samsung lmc16 or whatever they are? That is really expensive for what you get
I got 3 billies. And nothing sports related. Unless you count the rusty curl bar I haven't used in years.Got 2 dartboards but no table tennis table
What’s his public liability insurance like ?got a mate on another forum. he makes quantum board kits and sells them. $450AUD

you took more care than I did luke. I went for super easy and simple and just screwed them into the sheet. I used wago connectors for my connections though so that makes my wiring look a bit more flash than it really is (those terminal strips piss me off). $20 or $30 bucks on wagos was one of the bigger outlays on my buildJust some gall strips. Don't laugh to loudly at my DIY job.

That's 24 w per strip. Way to much for that space. I'm going to remove two strips or fit a defuser of some sort. Amazing how intense the LED lights are.
Yeah i am pretty handy with a soldering iron so mine will all be soldered with heat shrink. But im definitely just going with a single large plate. That's my small veg area its 50cm x 50cm x 1 meter.Looks pretty neat to me.
What size space is it?
what are those boards? theyre not QB units thats for sure. could be any old diodes chucked on a PCB. Even if he ordered the right ones from china its not uncommon for them to substitute the leds for a cheaper substitute dodgy cunts. pretty hard to test if theyre legit too - if I was paying 450 a throw for a home made light I'd want some data to know that what I'm getting is what it says on the tin.got a mate on another forum. he makes quantum board kits and sells them. $450AUD

Destructive ?? You’ve just increased the value of the house by adding a indoor garden they should thank youlol solved my issue with the hot seedling wardrobe. Good thing its easy to cut a hole in a gyprock ceiling. Now its a steady 24 degrees in there. I would never rent a house to me - Im a destructive bastard
If he’s selling them as a light fitting they have to meet AS3137 if he sold them minus the appliance lead as a “display item” they wouldn’t.Yeah i am pretty handy with a soldering iron so mine will all be soldered with heat shrink. And as for old mates insurance its non existant same as anything you buy from ebay or anywhere else. If it burns your house down its on you lol.
He builds a lot of them though. Hes pretty switched on. Hes going to be checking all my maths and wiring as i go along with my build to ensure i dont burn my house down or electrocute myself. My build will be up around 200vdc which is very dangerous
Be careful they might want to up the rent with all the new additionsyou reckon if I add a bit of plumbing through the floor the value would go up even more? I'll have to hit em up for a decrease in rent
