Low magnesium?

If I need to supply picture I will, but I don't want to disrupt the girls right now. The leafs are turning white starting from the tip and it's only (so far) affecting lower leafs. From what I read it could be a magnesium deficiency. I also read that it could be due to me moving the plants inside to outside? Due to recent events I've had to change light timing also, but for the foreseeable future the plants will remain outside.

Doesn't sound like a mag issue. That usually shows contrasting the veins in the leaf itself from the color of the leaf. Pictures and way more info would make it much easier to help you. If the leaf is going pale all at once in a uniform manner it could just be that there hungry. But that's only a guess obviously. White tips can also mean too much food. A picture is literally worth a 1000 words.

Yeah or snap and post at lights on if you don't wanna bug em. The pic would be your best bet for help for sure.

I could see why you would think mag def. it definitely has the look of mag def. I've just never seen the white tips like that. In my experience it's always more uniform with the veins in the leaf being much darker than the rest of the leaf. That plant just came out of a dark room correct? I ask because she looks a bit lazy. Which is normal in my experience. Is she always much more perked up during lights on?

Just pulled her from outside, so yeah I suppose dark room. She's pretty perky during the day time. I try to shy away from nutes considering the nutes I can afford are the ones I own (Miracle Gro) so I'm going all-natural lol.

My plants relax big time during lights out. Some do it way more than others. I'm actually not sure where to steer you. I see what appears to be a Mag def ....but I don't wanna give advice on something I'm not 100% on. Chances are it most likely is... what kind of soil are you in?

Shit, this happened AFTER I gave it water. I watered the plants until a lot of water started pouring out the bottom of my pots.
That's why asked about her looking lazy. That droop looked like possible overwatering laziness. But if she just came out of complete darkness for pics it's hard to say.

Overwatering can really cause a ton of issues that otherwise wouldn't be there if watering habits were good. I caused my fair share of issues by loving plants to death when I was younger. We've all done it.

I'm definitely very relaxed when it comes to watering, especially after over watering early on. I'm in a hilariously stupid combination of Miracle-Gro Seed Starting mix (not that much) and old normal Miracle Gro which I brought back to life per instruction from the internet. I was reading about the nutrient problems with Miracle Gro and how they can release unwanted nutrients over the course of 6 months, but since this soil is at least one year old I was able to make it my own, in a way. Like I said earlier, I'm on a budget and I'm forced to make due with what I have and unfortunately it's not much, but all things considered they're doing quite well.

Your actually better off with the miracle being a year old and used up. People have made this hobby way more difficult than it actually is. I've been playing around with reusing my expensive soils and even doing some no till plants this year. They look absolutely gorgeous. Lucky for you it doesn't take lots of money to get awesome results. If your on a budget look into Epsom salts to use when you water. I'd imagine it will clear that plant right up. I used it last year and it did great. Another thing I might suggest is look into getting a free sample of Mega Crop from green leaf nutrients. They will send you a sample free to try. They have a thread here in fact if your interested. I won one of their giveaways and I'm actually using it in one of my greenhouses. The stuff has the plants doing great.... she's guna get hungry in that soil at some point.

When my plants do get hungry, what're your feelings on adding a small amount of Miracle Gro? Also, what benefits do Epsom salts provide? Should I use them every water? What's no-till?

Epsom salt is a good source of magnesium for your plants. I never tried it until last year. It stopped the mag def and my plants that had it did great once I added it. If the MG is literally your only option I would use it very very sparingly. Literally at quarter strength f recommended dose ....maybe even less when and if you decide to do it. I'm not trying to sound like a broken record....but green leaf will send you a free sample of their Mega Crop powder. It has everything your plant needs in it. It's a powder that you mix in when you water. I'm seriously satisfied with it. I have a few buddies trying it as well. There all happy with it to. If your in the states it would literally cost a few dollars for shipping and that's it. I strongly suggest you at least look into it. When I was young and working with what I had around. I used tomatoe fertilizers and did just fine. The only thing is you'll have to be very careful about how much you give. Those kind of nutes aren't specific to our plants. Will they work .....sure..... but I can't stress to you enough how careful you gotta be. MG is some potent shit.

Oh and no till is basically just as it sounds. I literally left the stems inside the pots since last years harvest. I took my new plants and literally pulled the old stem from last years plants and planted my new plants directly into the same pot. I didn't dump the pot or change anything. The plants are doing just as good as the ones in new soil so far.

I've used Miracle Gro once and I got nute burn so I've just thought fuck it. I'm going to roll with the Mega Crop stuff. Do I use it every water?

I use it every other watering. I'm running it at about 2 and a half grams per gallon. It's working just as good as my current nutes I've used for many many years. Except it's a lot cheaper. The Mega crop is suppose to work for vegg and flower. I've done lots of research and lots of people do great using just Mega crop the whole Grow. One thing I like is that they put Cal and mag in the mix. So far I haven't had to add any cal/mag to my Mega Crop fed girls. So when you receive you sample I suggest you feed every other watering at 2 grams per gallon to start with. Some people run 4 to 5 grams per gallon. I have several strains going in my greenhouses ...2 and a half grams is doing just fine for them. I wouldn't be surprised if the Mega crop alone fixed your issue. Just water thoroughly when you do water ....and let the soil dry out completely in between waterings.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Hey your plant is lacking K and Mg. K deficiency looks like Mg deficiencies but starts in the upper half of the plant instead of lower. Weak floppy stems and leaves. Decreased turgidity. Burned tips.
If you have these symptoms but you still have green main stems, its definitely K deficiency. Those symptoms will persist and Ca deficiency will show up next if the plant doesn't get higher levels of Mg and K.
Top dress epsom salt and give a natural K supplement between feedings until you see improvement.
