Seriously if it means that much too you its probably worth the rebuild. Solder is easy to fix and the basic electronic parts should all still be available and probably cost next to nothing.she powers up but theres all kinds of popping and shit. I opened it up a couple years ago and the components are pretty much shot. Tonnes of solder joins need to be redone, most if not all of the caps and wires should be replaced too. Be sad but its probably time to let it go. I reckon I've spent a 2 or 3 full years of my life plugged into it
Might just dump a valve amp in it and live vicariously through that since a modern solid-state replacement would be shit in comparison to what was there
I used to throw everything away once upon a time. Since i started playing with electronics i found its actually pretty basic. Now i repair everything. Its surprising how available parts are and how cheap.
