no, it's not yet. let it get a couple more sets of leaves first. you can top that early, but it takes them longer to recover from it, i personally wait till the 7th set of leaves starts to come out and pinch those. and i top twice, maybe three times depending on the plant. after you top the first time, wait till the new growth has 3 or 4 sets of leaves, and top them all again

I'm also having issues as a nevern grower. I have a 2*4*5 tent with 2 small fans and 300w led with organic co2. Growing in a closet so I don't have much options for lower temps so I just got the co2 for that reason. It's like week 3 or 4 from sprout and I think it's moving too slow . I transplanted to 5gal smart pot with hot soil at the bottom right after root development but the pH. Everything seemed ok until the pH was different around the pot. I added the soil pH down and it's still in the low 7s .I believe some of the water might of touched the fan lead and turned it brown on that one spot but I'm not sure. I just need to know that it's going good n I have nothing to worry about lol .Also since I got scared of overwatering, I give it a pint of water every 3 days. Light is about 18" from top of plant .Should I lower?

as far as watering goes, you give them water when they need it, not on a schedule. when the pot gets light, water it, then don't water again till the pot gets light again. ph your water going in, and then ignore it....the medium will buffer it, and the plant taking what it wants will change the ph of your runoff....it'll never be the same coming out as it was going in, just make sure you're putting it in in the right range, and don't worry about it after that

How about the brown spot that came on the leaf? Could it be that the PH'd water accidentally got on that one spot and turned it brown?

probably not. more likely just a bug bite or something. one spot isn't anything to worry about, if you start seeing more, then worry.
as long as you're using decent nutes, ph'ing your water, and have semi decent conditions in your grow area, you should do fine.
throw that thing you have sticking in your pot away. those are crap. put it in the right ph and quit worrying about that. you should learn to tell when you need to water from the weight of the pot, it should be very light before you water it again, lighter than you think, then lighter than that. you don't want them to start drooping, but you don't want to be very far from it, either.
good air flow is important, don't aim a fan directly at your plant, aim it at the wall behind it and let the backwash keep the air moving.
you can go a little higher temp with the led, and still be in a good spot, but try to keep it under 85 in there.
look up vapor pressure defecit, and see what your rh should be at the temp in your room, it'll help the plant deal with the heat and still get decent growth

Thanks .I have the added co2 to compensate for the temp. Since I added the co2, growth improved drastically the next day so I kept temps between 75-90 cuz of the added co2. I have 1 fan blowing at the grow light and the other just aimed at the bottom of the grow pot to promote healthy roots? Seems logical but I might need alot of schooling. I'm gonna throw away that tool lol

get a cheap ph pen, and a ppm pen, and some solution to check both with. check them once a month and adjust them as needed. if you keep putting it in at the right ph and the right strength, you'll never need to fool with your medium.

i don't even know what medium you're growing in. soil, coco, peat?

if it looks like it needs calcium, then add some gypsum, and maybe a little dolomite lime. gypsum is pretty quick release, dolomite is slower, so by the time the gypsum is running out, the dolomite ought to start putting out.
