I'll try it tonight, I was hoping more amps would lead to higher watts.

Check out hlg site is shows the volts used at different current. Also heat plays a roll those heatsinks are not enough to passively cool a QB at Max current without lots of airflow

600W HPS puts out about 1100 uMol/s at the bulb. Reflector losses eat up about 20% of that, leaving about 900 uMols for the plants. 340 Watts of Quantum boards is going to give you very close to that - about 820 uMol's.

In addition, one big under recognized benefit of QB and many other LED systems is superior light distribution.

Getting even corner to corner lighting intensity is worth at least an additional 20% relative to a single point source.

It does within spec of the driver if you have the cash I would grab 1 more board and driver do 4 boards 2 per driver you get better spread plus you could crank it up to 600w if you wanted to.

so you are saying im outside the spec? I'd like to do that but i'd like to see these three perform as spec below.

I'm 3 weeks in flower and wouldn't mind throwing a 4th in there.

Huh? A smart outlet will not measure the output voltage of the driver, or the output current. It only measures the AC voltage of the outlet, and the AC current (and power) of the outlet.

yeah... i was just coming to post that. My multimeter is dead not going out tonight, but turning the dimmer up put the watts where they should be, at the wall. I should have specified it was a killawatt meter like device. And now im realizing its Vac?

yeah i kinda dont know what im doing... is it ok to turn the dimmer while the light is on?

Yeah you can do that, it won't hurt anything.

All going well. 4th week of flower looks very good. I’m skeptical about 330watt qb vs 600w hps but so far looks as good hard to tell really. It does seem lower buds are doing better more even 12+ inches below.

What driver should I get to drive two boards to max, max safe/recommended. Like 240w
