What’s a dual hose A/C ?

Air conditioner with a intake hose to condensers and exhaust hose
Great for sealed rooms n co2 but don't think we get them on this side world

I guess those guys are working landrace stuff which hasn’t been bottle necked so they are working the line that much to lock in some traits that make it a more manageable strain ? Other than that I can’t see any reason that you’d go beyond F5 or 6 in most cases. I’m with @2easy in regards looking for good growers in F1’s but I think you’ll find better breeding males in later generations

yeah you are right. definitely if your working with a locked in strain with known phenotype expression the chance that those particular traits are going to be passed on is much more likely. using a male from an f1 or f2 you never really know how good a donor he is going to be until you pop a few seeds from a few different crosses that you have made with them adn see which dominant traits he passes on.

you can go check on phylos for a lot of strains and it shows how stable the genetics are of a cross and how stable the offspring will be. its pretty neat really.

Yeah I’ve never seen one.

They are way more efficient than the single hose type and they don't exhaust all your co2 out the exhaust hose

@OzCocoLoco Nope just the normal variety. Would have if they were there. Might luck out and find them before spring - I have feeling ill be growing a stupid amount of chillies this season. Spoilt for choice compared to down south

Yeah ace Malawi is a true ibl and super stable so would be a good partner in a cross if you wanted to base a breeding effort off it with time and selection. Chucks are a bit different. A bit of fun, free seeds stock but nothing to get too carried away with. That's why I give them away with reckless abandon. Still the next best thing for people who don't or won't make a purchase of a nice F1 from good stock

Phylos galaxy is pretty cool but if the cuts they used aren’t the real deal it throws the whole thing out of whack. It’s a great idea and still fairly new so hopefully it gets refined and the guys with the verified cuts get them into the system

haha thats one of the reasons i love going on there. look at all the bullshit. it shows you just how many cuts have come in renamed etc.
OG kush is just a shit storm. 61 different cuts that are identical genetically with different names. who knows what to believe. Ghost Og, SFV, tahoe, triangle, kosher. they all came in but all are identical genetically. so is there just one cut that has been renamed a bunch of times or is there just one cut of OG that is heavily circulated with a bunch of different names and the true cuts have been held tight?

I bet you just watched that video on youtube with the fella talking about dual hose air cons haha, I watched it a few months ago but meh wasn't needed in my situation, just your crappy box window aircon for $100 was fine
