hi so i am currently on 12/12 for flowering and little budlets just starting to show with white pistalls . i wanted to change the light cycle from 7am till 7am instead of what its on now which is 5.30pm till 5.30am can i give them 25.5 hours or dark and change them to that light cycle ? or will it just mess everything up? i have to change the light cycle due to personal reasons . any help would be good !!! thanks

Yes. I would go with 25 1/2 hours of darkness. Just start it back up at 0700 the next morning.

If you have to change the time, extend dark hours.
Plants won't care it's dark for too long, but they do care if it's not dark long enough.

Yep. Long dark periods will do no harm, but short dark periods can cause problems.ok so its on a cycle at moment once it hits 5.30am i can then wait until the next morning and turn on at 7am ???? thank for help guys

Thanks for asking this - I was wondering the same thing myself. I've got the reverse of your situation - wanting to get the lights off during the hottest part of the day to better control heat. We've had a couple of hot spells recently, and after consistently keeping temps below 85 degrees I had one day where it got up to 90 in the tent.
