only water with natural spring water from a nearby source
Hi Darkice,
Have to say you're off to a good start. Plants look healthy. Note the color of the leaves. That's probably your plants natural color. An overfed plant would reveal a much darker color. So that "young plant" soil is really doing the trick. Plant loves it.
I'm just going to talk about water for a sec. Not that you are doing anything wrong. I do hydro so I think about water a lot.
Natural spring water is bottled "as is" from the ground. For plant use it's a complete unknown. Read the label and see if it has a chemical analysis of the minerals. I've heard of spring water as being as high as 600ppm. Tasty for people but not the best for plants. If water is around 200ppm then it will be good.
Water labeled as "drinking water" is usually city water run through a RO filter...read the small print.
Is this to be an organic grow? How bad is your tap water? Just trying to help you get ahead of the curve since, as the plant grows, it will be increasingly difficult to be buying store bought water .
Cheers,
JD
